Fitness4Women is on the first floor of the Family Mall Market on St Ann's Well Road in Nottingham. It holds a 4.7 rating from 43 Google reviews, and unlike most records in this directory, this one is current: the reviews run through to May 2026.
It's women-only, and the space is small. Both of those are the point.
Two Members Say It's Too Small
This is the thing to know before you join, and it comes from members who gave five stars anyway.
A member in May 2026: "I personally found the space a bit limiting (I love to throw balls and kettlebells around) but I can see there's a lot of women there who workout without issues and given the gym is never absolutely packed to the brim, it's possible to work around the space to achieve a good workout nonetheless."
A member in April 2026: "Someone who works out just for a bit, the gym is suitable, but is very very small. Price is too high for this gym."
Read those together. If your training is ballistic, kettlebell swings, slams, anything needing floor space, one member is telling you directly that it's limiting. If you do a straightforward session, another says it's fine.
That second member also thinks it's overpriced for the size, which is the only pricing signal on the page. No figure is named, and they still gave five stars, so weigh it accordingly. But small plus not-cheap is worth establishing before you sign anything.
The redeeming detail: it's never packed. A small gym that's always empty is a different proposition from a small gym with a queue.
What It's Actually Selling
Not equipment. Read what people describe.
A member in May 2026: "The gym has a really good vibe, it's very chilled, and you can tell whoever runs the gym wants to motivate the women there to feel strong and good in their bodies. The toilets/changing rooms are clean and the staff who usually are present seem to be friendly and willing to help."
A member in October 2025: "The most beautiful gym, especially because it is for women only. I liked everything."
A member in April 2026: "Amazing space with great facilities and even better staff! I feel so comfortable and supported."
Comfortable. Supported. Chilled. Women-only. That's what four of five reviewers are buying, and if that's your barrier to training at all, a limited floor plan may be a price worth paying.
The Best Evidence On The Page
A member in April 2026: "My PT sessions with Rachael are two years going strong."
Two years with the same trainer, said in passing. That's worth more than any adjective here. People don't stay two years with a PT they tolerate.
Another member in April 2026 had been there a week: "The staff are incredibly welcoming friendly and helpful. The gym itself, 10/10 worth every penny."
Note that one directly contradicts the "price is too high" review. A week-old member says worth every penny; a member the same month says overpriced. Both gave five stars. I can't reconcile that, and since neither names a figure, neither can you until you ring and ask.
Hours
These are published and they're good. Monday to Friday, 06:30 to 21:00. Saturday, 06:30 to 20:00. Sunday, 06:30 to 18:00.
A 06:30 open seven days a week, including Sunday, is better than plenty of larger gyms manage. If early mornings are when you train, that's a real point in its favour.
Who It's Not For
Men, obviously. Anyone who wants a big floor, heavy barbell work, or space for dynamic movements. And anyone comparing purely on price per square foot, since a member has already made that argument for you.
