Hyper Gym in Mesogi, near Paphos in Cyprus, is a genuine gym with a genuine budget pitch, and the reviews are unusually good at telling you both what you get and what you'll pay. One member did the most useful thing a reviewer can do: they tracked their own dose. Writing in March 2025, they logged "1 year and 160+ visits later" and said their opinion had only improved. That's not a vibe, that's a usage record, and it carries more weight than a stranger's "best gym ever."

What it costs, roughly

Most listings hide the price. Here, reviewers leak it. An October 2025 note from a visitor spells out the drop-in deal: "7 day pass 20 euros," plus a detail lifters will care about, "Set of 50kg dumbbells too so no strength is lost whilst on holiday." An August 2025 member calls "the annual membership fee is very reasonable, and the summer promotions make joining even more of a no-brainer." So the shape is clear: this competes on value, not luxury. A June 2026 reviewer is blunt about the tradeoff: "A little tierd in places but you get what you pay for and their membership prices are perfect if you're on a budget." I appreciate a five-star review that admits the paint is worn.

Where the voices agree

Three things repeat across independent reviews: friendly staff and members, a wide equipment range, and a mixed crowd. The June 2026 reviewer lists "different ages, abilities, nationalities, shapes and sizes." The August 2025 member says fellow members "start feeling like old friends." An October 2025 holiday visitor keeps coming back on family trips because it has "everything I need for good weight session and pump." For a smaller gym outside a tourist town, that's a consistent, warm signal.

What the 4.6 is measuring

The average sits at 4.6 across 49 reviews. That's a fair sample, and the written notes lean strongly positive while openly naming the one weakness: some equipment or fittings are worn. So the softer scores probably reflect that tiredness rather than any service problem. My read is that you're buying a friendly, well-stocked, slightly aged gym at a low price, and the reviewers who say exactly that are the ones I'd trust.

What's missing

Here's the gap, and a reviewer flagged it for me. A June 2026 note asks the gym directly: "Could you please put the prices on Google maps (with a picture for example)". In other words, the full price list isn't posted. We have a 20-euro weekly pass from one visitor and "reasonable" annual fees from a member, but no official rate card. If the exact monthly number decides it, call +357 26 652006 or check their Facebook page.

Who it's not for

If you want pristine, brand-new machines and a polished spa-style fit-out, the reviews themselves warn you off; "a little tired in places" is a member's own words. If value, a friendly room, and enough free weights to train seriously matter more, this fits.

FAQ

How much does Hyper Gym cost?

No full price list is posted. One visitor cites a 7-day pass at 20 euros, and members call the annual fee "reasonable." Call the gym for the current monthly rate.

Is the equipment good?

Reviewers describe a wide range and note 50kg dumbbells, but also call parts of the gym "a little tired." It's well-stocked and functional rather than brand new.

Is it beginner friendly?

Yes. Multiple reviews describe a mixed crowd of all ages and abilities and staff who welcome newcomers, returners, and experienced lifters alike.

Hyper Fitness – More Than Just a Gym! Yani, Chris and the entire team at Hyper Fitness are absolute legends! From day one, they’ve been friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming to everyone — whether you're new to fitness, returning after years away, or a seasoned pro. The gym has an amazing mix of members of all ages and abilities, creating a truly supportive and motivating atmosphere. 💪 1 year and 160+ visits later — has my opinion changed? Absolutely not — it’s only gotten better! Sure, you expect to get stronger, fitter, and more flexible after a year of training… but the biggest surprise has been the friendships I've made along the way. The smiles, the "good mornings," the quick catch-up chats, and the encouragement on tough days — these little moments have made all the difference. It’s not just about working out; it’s about feeling part of a community. ✨ Still on the fence? Just give it a go! I’ll be more than happy to say hello and cheer you on to keep coming back. You won’t regret it!
