If you want to learn or develop your hand-to-hand combat skills, Palestra is the best place. A trainer with extensive experience, including in team management, friendly staff, a great atmosphere, and low prices are certainly its advantages.

Palestra is a place of pain and growth. This is NOT a McGym where you will walk out in the same shape you came in. From the point of view of someone just starting: The warmups are intense. They expect you to know those moves. The training is always under the watchful eye of the trainers and they know their stuff. The main trainer and owner was able to layout a plan for me after just one visit and earned my trust quickly. This place will break you down, build you back and teach you martial arts along the way. Highly recommended for those who want to work hard!

Terrible place and here is why. 1. A good thing is they accept Multisport, a bad thing is that they still charge you 30 zl which is nothing in reality, but they don't even tell you why and of course you won't get a receipt. That means they just pocket that money and do not declare it (taxes). 2. The gym is extremely dirthy, filthy I would say. You can see right away they have never EVER cleaned the place. It smells terrible, it looks terrible, and you can literally see blackish areas of years of filth. 3. The changing room and "lockers", if you may call them that, are a joke. The room is small and there is no light in the adjacent section of it, so when is dark you cannot see properly. The "lockers" are very small and you can barely put a backpack there. On top of that, of course, everything is very dirty. 4. Some instructors are good, some of them are not and they teach you bad habits and actually tell you to do things their way even when sometimes they are wrong. But hey! they are the instructors right? They ought to know their stuff... 5. Finally, and this is the worst of all. One day I finished my training and decided to stay and skip the rope for 10 minutes. I found a place to workout and all of a sudden the OWNER came to me and asked me if I had a private lesson to which I responded that no, I had just finished my training and out of nowhere in a very rude way he said "Get out of here. You cannot be here.". I asked what the problem was and why I couldn't just skip the rope for 10 minutes, and he just said the same thing. There where even some parents filming their little kids and they got this on record. So there you have it. You will see that a lot of people regard this palce as "the best Muay Thai gym in Warsaw", and that is nothing but lies. The worst thing is the owner. He has a bad attitute, he is rude, and he is lazy. The times I saw him "giving" a lesson, he was just sitting, barking orders, and not showing how to do things. If you want to find a good Muay Thai place to start/continue your training, then avoid this place.
