I have travelled around Europe and Portugal and seen hotels but this is literally the best location on the Atlantic Ocean with 2 amazing 5nstar restaurants within walking distance. The architecture is spectacular. The landscape is amazing with floral diversity. The indoor pool is divine. The outdoor pools and Tiki bar are 5 star.Its safe quiet , romantic, elegant and family friendly. a hidden gem with fair prices for what you get . Can't wait for our next visit. Dunas Douradas is truly one of the most special places in my life. This place holds so many beautiful memories for me, my family, and my friends. Every single year, I come back here because it honestly feels like therapy for the soul. The atmosphere, the peaceful surroundings, the beautiful location, and the overall experience make it impossible not to return. The resort itself is stunning, perfectly located, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing — but what truly makes this place exceptional is the people. Everyone working here feels like family. From the reception team, to the luggage staff, to the management team, every single person is warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. You can truly feel the positive spirit of the entire place. I especially want to thank Paulo Farias for always going above and beyond to organize our stays and make everything smooth and perfect. He is truly exceptional at what he does — professional, attentive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead in understanding what guests need. His follow-up, care, and dedication are honestly remarkable, and people like him are one of the biggest reasons guests keep coming back year after year.
