I don't regret spending the money at all, and I'll definitely stay at this hotel again on future trips to Stockholm. We had an amazing view of the church, but I think the rooms on the other sides have great views too, since the hotel is right in the city centre. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores nearby, and you're surrounded by beautiful streets the moment you step outside. The reception staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Honestly, everything about our stay was incredible. I already can't wait to come back!
Every now and then you come across a hospitality brand like the Taj. Who go above and beyond and help you out. This was one such place. I forget the name of the front office staff and the duty manager. Highly recommend this hotel. Don't think about the price, it's a good brand and try to pinch pennies and destroy your sleep and health, you deserve places like this hotel.
Great base for exploring Stockholm Stayed at the Scandic Continental during a family trip to Stockholm and it delivered on all the important things. Location is unbeatable — literally steps from Stockholm Central Station, which made getting around the city (and beyond) effortless. Service was warm and attentive, and the breakfast spread was well above average — fresh, varied, and a great way to start the day. The rooftop bar is a must. The views over the city are impressive, especially in the evening. A great spot to wind down after a day of sightseeing. Overall a solid, well-run hotel in the heart of the city. Would recommend for families and travelers who want convenience without sacrificing comfort.
Excellent location right in front of Stockholm Central Station. As a visitor from Japan traveling alone, I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay. The hotel was quiet, clean, and perfect as a base for exploring the city using public transportation. My room did not have a window or refrigerator, but surprisingly it worked very well for me. I recovered from jet lag quickly, and it was easy and fun to buy food and drinks from the station shops and the supermarket downstairs. I would happily stay here again.

It is perfectly located for exploring both the Old Town (Gamla Stan) and the modern part of Stockholm on foot. Plus, when you are done with your day, you can just hop down to the station right below, making it incredibly easy to head back or catch a connection to your next destination. A great choice for active travelers who just need a comfortable place to sleep and prioritize top-tier connectivity and walkability.
