Booked 2 rooms for a family night away. Check in excellent, family room not ready but no issue. Rooms very good especially family room which was spacious. Small gripe: if 3 in room please leave 3 cups, 3 towels etc, got extra towel from housekeeping trolley next morning. Requested milk, extra cup and biscuits (1 in room) that evening but never arrived. Breakfast was excellent, both food quality and service. The manager was really good and we all gave breakfast 10/10. Hotel is central to the city and is walking distance to almost everything, will definitely return.
On arrival I was met with very friendly staff who were happy to help. My room exceeded my expectations if I'm honest it was very spacious and comfortable. I went to the bar for my dinner which was also very good. Breakfast the next morning didn't disappoint either. There was a great selection to choose from.
The hotel was very busy with the Cork Jazz festival on but the staff were lovely and in great form. The room was so comfortable, overlooking the river and was lovely. Great location too, so close to main street, great weekend!
My wife and I stayed for four nights at the Clayton Hotel and found the experience delightful. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed, with a great view of the city and river. The staff, from reception, restaurant and housekeeping were all very helpful, friendly and courteous.. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The stay there made the visit a great success
Our stay at the Clayton in Cork was very nice. It was very clean, rooms were well-appointed and laid out well. The The lobby/bar area was also very nice, plenty of comfy seating and place to grab a bite or a pint. Very handy having a coffee shop just outside the door too as well as being situated on the river. Made for some good visuals which sipping your drink of choice on the boardwalk. It was also very convenient to tour/travel options as well as good proximity to restaurants and pub choices.
