Great Fun Pool. Clean and fun Wave machine, waterslide, nice shallow area for babies and toddlers Canteen - nice snacks and coffee We had our sons birthday party here, with full hire of the pool - awesome
Lovely pool, we really enjoyed the waves! Clean spacious changing areas. Had to pay for parking which was a bit inconvenient as we had to set up an app to pay, which ate into our pool time. To then discover a 'quick pay' QR code when you get to reception - i suggest they put this in the carpark instead of the instructions to download the app! Other than that we really enjoyed our visit.
Had a great tour of this fantastic facility first with Ross who showed me the leisure pool, which looks great, and the main pool. He then handed me over to Luke who showed me the extensive gym and all the equipment. It looks very impressive and I shall be taking my 8 yr old daughter on Saturday. I can't wait Phillipa and I booked the 1045 session on saturday 28th March. The only swimming she has done is in a lesson with a teacher. This was a step outside her comfort zone. Not long after we went in a voive came over the tannoy. 'The wave machine is starting..' And it was quite something. Coning out of the deepend it bit the sidewall with cobsiderable power. Next was the jaccuzi and going under the waterfall. In the deepend she remembered she could swim. A great morning capped by scooting along the seafront to meet her mother. Hopefully she will pluck up the courage to tackle the flume! At the Sovereign centre. Naturally!
I have been coming to this swimming pool for at least 35 years. Im aware that its not been too easy for them recently. When you do get to swim, its honestly a brilliant swimming pool, its clean, and its good to see its still open. HOWEVER I do not appreciate the attitude of management at this center when I appeal a private parking notice - which they have the ability (as land owner ) to over turn. I was parked for 17 minutes in their car park - I to this day did not see the signage in the car park that said you had to pay. The barriers were up (not removed) - I assumed they were not working as you always used to buy a token from reception. We were unable to swim due to poor communication via their call center and drive albeit 20mins from where we live. To top this off the website was still taking bookings, and members of the public were still being let in because they had booked on line. So i thought I would do the same as their booking system still had over a hundred spaces left!! Its a complete farse, disappointed and will be taking my PCN further with Gemini Solutions and the Landowner. Its not the fact I wouldn’t recommend the pool -I would - but sadly if there are problems you are pretty much on your own, and they stick to the rules and hide behind the fact that they use a private parking company. - Such a shame, hopefully it will survive.
Its nice to have fun in pool. Life guard didnt really look properly that there was little girl drowning.i Rushed to get her out. Life guard just looked and ignored it. And then her father just snatched her and looked at me like I was trying to take his kid or something as Life guard didn't acknowledge any of it. My disabled daughter had nose bleed as she gone yo pool. Trying to get her to the edge without contaminating water and yet again life guard just looked but offered no help or anything. Didnt even care to maybe offer tissue so she wouldnt drip blood going to toilet as she was obviously dripping from pool. Also my daughter has very visible feeding tube going thru her nose but no help offered at all.just looked over and turned away.Anyhow young staff around the pool r not the most pleasant. Even while queueing on slide they r rather rude. Absolutely no interaction between any of them even while passing customers up the stairs to slide. At the top u just get "ok" nod.i dont expect them to have conversations with everyone and I appreciate people have off day but there was no pool staff they had little bit of "interest" to be at work on that day. The only pleasant lady was the lady at the front desk. Showers and toilets area very tired looking and could do with better clean in between. Won't be in any rush coming back unfortunately
