I want to express my gratitude to my swimming coach, Vladislav Sadovnikov (Albatross Zapad). I came to him two months ago with a fear of water. I could only swim with fins, couldn't breathe in the crawl stroke, and didn't know how to do the breaststroke or dolphin stroke. I took my fins off during the first training session!!! In two weeks, he taught me how to breathe in the crawl stroke and how to swim the breaststroke. Now we're learning the dolphin stroke. He's the most professional swimming coach I've ever had! He explains things very clearly, knows how to praise and inspire, supports, and helps you develop your skills step by step and progressively! He also works on every minute of the training, never getting distracted for a second, and is always very attentive to what you're doing. This is truly impressive – he's a master of his craft and loves his work. I have someone to compare him to. Thank you so much! If you're going to take a swimming class, go with him!
It's a wonderful gym. I've been training there for over 20 years. I rely more on the trainers, as I only go to group classes in the aerobics room. Everything else is so-so. But what I really didn't like was the change in the group class schedule. For some reason, starting March 18th of this year, there suddenly wasn't enough time to ventilate the room. First, they reduced the duration of classes from 50 minutes to 45. Now they've decided to bring back those 5 minutes, BUT they've increased the interval between classes. 😡 And if I stay for a second class, I lose 45 minutes of my time. Because now the second class starts at 10:15 instead of 10:00. Consequently, the third class starts at 11:30. I've spoken to many people who train in the West, and absolutely everyone dislikes this change. I'd like to ask a question: WHY? And who needs it? If I need to collect signatures from your club's clients, I'll do it. I have to take one ☆ from you because I like everything else. I'm asking you to return to the previous class schedule, which has been in place for decades, i.e., 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, etc.
Сегодня хочу поделиться впечатлениями от наших женщин в Спортивном клубе Альбатрос. Всегда думала, что нормальные люди в спортивный клуб должны ходить в спортивных вещах, купальники существуют спортивные. Сегодня 19.04.26 года просто нашествие полуголых женщин. Мало того что они в пляжных купальниках, так еще и полуголые в стрингах. Для этих купальников есть специальные места, как например пляж, спа комплексы. Но никак не спортивный клуб. Мы с ребенком-мальчиком 9 лет, были просто в шоке. Администрация комплекса, мы ходим к Вам не первый год, очень нравится у Вас, но пожалуйста 🙏 укажите в правилах посещения одежду и купальные принадлежности которые должны использовать Ваши посетители. И контролируйте это. Спасибо 🙏
Plenty of room on the gym floors, spacious changing rooms, friendly staff and otherwise great facilities. The only drawback (and hence me taking one star) is the terribly slippery floor in the shower rooms.
I was at Albatros Zapad today with my girlfriend—we're moving to the area and were looking for a gym for regular classes. We asked to just show the gym before buying a membership. The administrator called in front of us, clarified, and said, "Tours are not available." This means you can't see the gym. The only option is to pay for a one-time visit first. You're essentially being asked to buy a membership blind. For a fitness club, this is a sign of their level of service: a complete lack of basic customer focus. When a gym isn't willing to show its facilities before payment, the logical question arises: what exactly are they not showing you? Compared to other clubs that casually let you look around or offer a trial class, this seems like a frankly weak and outdated approach.
