This record is filed as Mood City Club, in Fenerbahce, Kadikoy, Istanbul. Two things before anything else.

The name has changed. A member of three years wrote in September 2021: "They have changed their name and now it is called Cadde club or something." The website on file is caddefitnessclub.com.tr, which backs him up. So if you're searching, try Cadde Fitness Club.

And it's underground. That matters more than it sounds, because three separate reviewers raise it.

A Day Pass Is 600 Lira, Cash Only

A visitor in July 2024, three stars, gives the only figures on the page: "600 Lira for a day pass. Cash, no cards accepted. No water fountain, you have to bring your own water. No towels, just paper towels. You must understand how terrible that is for an underground gym with poor ventilation."

Six hundred lira, cash only. No card. No water fountain. No towels.

That's four practical facts in two sentences, and every one of them is the sort of thing you find out at the door. If you turn up with a card and no bottle, you're not training.

He's fair about the rest: "The second day the girl at the desk was very polite, offered me a bottle of water. If this is the best they have, I guess my concerns are moot. But overall, the equipment is good, the space is big as well."

And he ends with two suggestions rather than abuse: put in a filtered water fountain, and buy cloth towels for the machines. That's a customer trying to help, not a customer venting.

The Ventilation

Two members raise it independently.

The July 2024 visitor calls it "an underground gym with poor ventilation."

A member of over three years, in September 2021: "AC is generally off and you need to ask for them to turn it on since the owners are trying to cut back cost by doing these silly things."

Air conditioning off by default, in a basement, until someone asks.

That member's explanation for why is his own theory, and I'd leave it as that. The observable part is: the AC isn't on unless you ask. In an underground gym, that's worth knowing.

He adds that the WiFi was broken for over a week, and points out why it matters: "it is very essential for the underground area since there is no phone service."

No mobile signal underground. So if the WiFi's down, you're uncontactable while you train. Nobody else mentions it, but it's a specific, physical consequence of the location.

The Complaint I've Trimmed

A member in June 2025, one star, argues the price-to-quality ratio is poor and names a cheaper, more consistent alternative: MACfit.

He then goes after one of the founders personally, at some length. I've left that out. It's a stranger's characterisation of a named individual's motives and family circumstances, it isn't checkable, and it tells you nothing about whether you'd enjoy training there.

The part worth keeping is his actual argument: he thinks you overpay here relative to the chain alternatives. Set that against 600 lira for a day pass and decide for yourself. He also says, without qualification, "the teachers are great."

The Members Who Stayed

A member in November 2024: "We have been coming here over a year and are really happy with the gym. We love Furkhan and the front desk people and our trainer Baran. We only ask for more 4 and 5 kilo weights and to change the videos periodically."

More 4 and 5 kilo dumbbells. That's a light-weight gap, and it's the kind of request that only comes from someone who's there constantly.

A member in May 2024: "Really enjoying the crossfit classes here and my wife is very pleased with the functional fitness classes. We became members for a few months, easy process with Furkan."

CrossFit and functional fitness classes exist, and joining was easy. Two reviewers name the same front-of-house person.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 22:00. Saturday and Sunday, 08:00 to 20:00.

Open seven days, which is more than most.

Who It's Not For

Anyone who won't carry cash and a water bottle.

Anyone bothered by a basement, given three reviewers mention the underground setting and two mention air.

The teachers are great. However, the business model is terrible. Specifically, the price to quality ratio is low, which makes you basically overpay for what you get and use over there while in the alternative gyms (e.g. MACFit) it’s more stable. And one of the founders (I don’t remember the name, but it’s not the one who used to be the bodybuilder) is not professional at all - his attitude to the business and his customers is as of a aspired-to-be-a-doctor son who was forced to be entrepreneur bcs of his inheritance.

First of all, I have been a member of this establishment for over 3 years. They have changed their name and now it is called Cadde club or something. General hygiene is poor at best especially with the covid conditions they don't have any precautions about the matter and nobody can say otherwise since I go there almost everyday. AC is generally off and you need to ask for them to turn it on since the owners are trying to cutback cost by doing these silly things. They couldn't even fix WiFi for over a week and I might add it is very essential for the underground area since there is no phone service available there. Despite all of this they have been increasing their annual fees for ridiculous amounts and yet they haven't even renewed any of the equipment inside over 3 years at least nor fix any of the damaged equipment. So it is sad to say they are just using their location and advantage of being the sole gym around the area. Owners are utterly the worst people you can imagine who don't even pay their workers on time or full amount which lead to good trainers leaving the gym. I would pretty much consider to sign up to this gym for a hard long time.
