Hotel Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City

We had an excellent stay at Equatorial Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The hotel's location is perfect, making it easy to explore the city and access nearby attractions. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. Every staff member was courteous, professional, and always ready to help. A special thanks to Nam at the swimming pool, who provided exceptional service with a warm smile and great attention to detail. His friendliness and dedication made our pool experience truly memorable. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we highly recommend Equatorial Hotel to anyone looking for excellent hospitality, great facilities, and a convenient location. We look forward to staying here again!

My stay at Hotel Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City with my group from 21st to 23rd June was overall a pleasant experience. Located in District 5, about 8-9 km from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the hotel is conveniently situated with easy access to attractions such as Ben Thanh Market, Chinatown, and the War Remnants Museum. With over 330 rooms and suites, the hotel offers good facilities including a swimming pool, gym, spa, restaurants, and banquet spaces. I stayed in a room on the 4th floor facing the swimming pool. The advantage was easy pool access - just step outside and you're there. The downside, however, was privacy, as we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time. The room and bathroom lighting could definitely be improved, as both felt rather dim. The bathroom's drop-down privacy screen also had gaps, which could feel slightly uncomfortable if sharing with a friend or colleague. Housekeeping did an excellent job, regularly replenishing fresh linen, towels, toiletries, and tea/coffee supplies. The lobby was spacious and welcoming. Special appreciation goes to Mr. Dexter, Mr. Viet (Apprentice), and Mr. Jason, the bell staff, who were consistently cheerful, proactive, and helpful. A special mention to Mr. Vincent, the bartender, whose cheerful nature and ability to remember guests' preferred drinks added a personal touch. Breakfast at Chit Chat Restaurant had a very good spread, including an Indian counter. I did notice the Medu Vadai seemed fried in oil previously used for fish, as the fish aroma was quite strong. I informed the chef, who immediately replaced it - something much appreciated, especially considering our vegetarian guests. Ms. Sandy at Chit Chat Restaurant also stood out with her warm interactions and excellent Vietnamese cold coffee, which had many coming back for more Most staff were warm and courteous, though a few did not acknowledge guests. In hospitality, even a simple greeting can make a big difference and create positive energy. Overall, this is a comfortable hotel with good facilities and some truly excellent staff. With improved lighting and more consistent guest engagement, the experience could be even better. Warm regards, Alan Woods

The hotel is cozy and room is good enough for single to stay for standard room. And staff is very nice and well mannered. I was assigned with room with view of swimming pool that's gave me good background for my video in either day or night times. Breakfast here is amazing with quite a lot of choices and yummy.

Good location. 15 mins drive from airport. Well connected to rest of the city. Premises good , clean , rooms big, breakfast spread very nice. They had Indian spread as well as Masala tea ..very nice!! Kids enjoyed pancakes. Staff very courteous and helpful.
