Golden Phoenix CrossFit

3 years ago, a few girls from my softball team and I worked with a trainer named Emily for about 3 months. She was very encouraging and constantly motivated us all throughout our workout. The rest of the staff was friendly and inviting as well.

I'm a new member here and someone who has never done cross fit. I'm not in shape and was nervous about doing something like this 100%. I didnt even think I'd go, just look from afar. But Jacqueline the owner reached out and invited me to a class when she saw me spying on instagram. Her warm hi and come check out a class was enough to make me feel comfortable in coming in. IM SO GLAD I WENT. If you're having doubts, go, if you have anxiety about your body, go. If you have anxiety about people. Go. Everyone here is friendly, everyone knows what it's like to be where you are, there are all kinds of bodies and abilities at golden pheonix and everyone is working out equally hard. Members and staff are there to help and support you and it shows when you're greeted at the beginning of class and when you shake hands with everyone at the end. Instead of feeling uncomfortable and like you wont go back. You feel very welcomed and like you need to go back. Plus the work out is hard, but they modify it so you can get through it. They really dont want you to over work yourself. They just trying to get your heart rate up.

The best Crossfit Box I have experienced. The facility is clean, family and pet friendly. The workouts can be tough, but you can do this on your level and no one else's. It's a great place to meet other people who share the desire to train in a way that effects your entire body, and your mind. Jacqueline and her trainers are excellent at their jobs and will help you through every step of the way.

Great place, great teaching, great workout and atmosphere. I am so happy I found Golden Phoenix CF. I had been months searching for a place where I wouldn't feel so self conscious being close to 40 and never having done cross fit before. The coaches take time to get to know us. They work on our confidence building as well as the physical development. I have been a member for a little over 1 year and I can already do things I never thought were possible. My two kids age 9 and 11 also train there at the Kids class. Students and teacher are like family. We love it!
