A big site with enormous potential and have personally enjoyed the membership their for the last decade. However, the price keeps going up far in excess of inflation, classes, pool usage and kids activities offer less variety and frequency in comparison to Virgin Active days. Additionally, even though the service is decent the maintenance is terrible. Spa ain't worked properly for 2 years, changing areas and showers need a good clean, restaurant is overpriced and low on quantity. Finally the tennis courts are always wet from a leaking roof!!!

Considering this is the most expensive gym (health club) in Swansea, it is let down by some poor maintenance, the cardio equipment is the same since it was Virgin with tv channels removed and also not working on some equipment, there has been some updates but nothing to shout about. The floor tiles around the pool are slippery and could do with a good clean, the changing rooms are normally clean and tidy, staff are friendly. The memberships could do with being more transparent and they increase every year, my monthly platinum membership increased from £85 to £89 per month, this is a lot of money in comparison to the competition in the local area and you would expect everything to be perfect at this price.

facilities are ok and staff are pleasant but its not really up to the standard of a real David Lloyd health club i have a bigger sauna in my spare room and its always rammed full of self-proclaimed "regulars" most of whom are long retired they seem to want to wait until peak time in the afternoon I.E 5-7 just to linger around the facilities for hours on end gossiping there is a massive café area available to do this type of socialising yet none of them seem to want to use it , unfortunately this type of strange behaviour often leads to heavy overcrowding in the pool area and changing rooms making use for casual members nigh on impossible gym facilities are ok although there always seems to be a lot of U16's running around at all hours

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service is disgusting If anyone is thinking of joining be careful, they will rip you right off. Accused me of not paying my joining fee and also denied 50% back from one of my payments I've made as I've been a holder of vitality insurance for two years . Mislead when I joined , being told I'd get my money back . Absolutely appalled with how greedy they are. Pool is tiny , full of kids . Gym decent . Food is over priced and wouldn't fill u up. Bunch of jokers

Been a member for a couple of years now, place has gone down hill, replaced the dumbbells with second hand ones ? Really, jacuzzi still has broken jets, ceilings still broken over main pool, barely any of the investment money has gone into anything, I filled the forms in too swap my direct debit account details and it never even made it too head office, membership price has gone up and there's been absolute bare improvement.
