Borealis is a warm, inclusive, authentic wellness community. Emilie has thoughtfully created a truly special space for your practice and has attracted a stellar team of instructors. I appreciate how approachable the classes are and how the teachers offer variations for poses to individualize your work. It is a truly welcoming space, and I'm so glad I found it. If you love yoga, this studio is worth traveling to.

Borealis is one of my favorite places to practice yoga. I can’t say enough about the owner, Emilie, and what a warm welcome I received the first time I showed up at her yoga studio. I love all the instructors and everyone who are a part of the Borealis community. I have not been to the new studio yet, but hope to get there soon!

From the first time I visited Borealis more than three years ago, I felt I had found a yoga home—from the warm welcome, to excellence and variety of classes and workshops offered to the lack of judgment. Prompts are given with compassion and sensitivity and newcomers to more advanced yogis can all find classes that suit their needs and wants. Everyone is truly welcome at Borealis and everyone can find something they enjoy at this special studio. The owner Emilie has created a true sanctuary and each of the instructors who work there bring something special to their classes.

I have been going to Borealis for almost 3 years now. I love this place I was very reluctant at first to join a yoga studio. I thought that the whole experience would be intimidating. It was just the opposite. Emilie, the owner, and her staff are amazing. I felt very welcomed by them and the other students on the very first day. I love the variety of classes. They have something for everybody, all levels. Check this place out....you will say “ahhhh, now this is what community yoga is all about”

I could not be happier with a yoga studio. Every instructor I have ever had (and that's mot of them, including subs!) has been knowledgeable, willing to offer modifications to make it more or less intense, and very able to read the class, an uncommon skill that I value immensely. There are gentle classes where my goal is to relax and recenter my emotions, and there are more intense classes where I can work hard and see progress. I've tried for years to get into a habit with yoga, but I never could. Borealis offers classes in a way that I'm finally able to make it a regular part of my life.
