Fitness First - Terminal 21

Staying only for one day in BKK I was looking for a decent Gym to go to. I was heavily dissapointed as for a chain of Fitnesscentres its not considered a good gym in my views. Very expensive 830B for a single entry for a few dumbbells, no Barbells, no squatrack, machines so close toghether tha you almost touch your neighbour while working out.. There seem to be a lot of good instructors working there and nice groupsclasses..but the gym itself is just slightly better than a hotelgym

*Zero Stars* If you are an American Citizen don't go to this gym. I was there last week to use a 3 day free trial. They told me to have a seat and a representative would attend to me. Meet with a sales person, he speaks English good and can understand me. He then asks me to make a copy of my passport, I hand it to him. He goes to the front and makes a copy and he takes a good while to come back. Him and another guy continually look at me, but I act like nothing is going on. But I saw everything what they were doing (shady stuff) He comes back with a copy of my passport asking me to sign below. Before I sign I ask him "where is my passport?" The guy didn't say anything, and acts like he can't speak English anymore. I ask the 2nd time he acts all dumb pointing to the paper to sign. I raise my voice and start to get really pissed off and told him to go and get my passport wherever he placed it. He goes back to get it, I signed the copied paper and workout for 1 hr. Since I was angry. Will report him to their cooperate office in U.K. and the U.S. embassy. The gym is so small the locker rooms are bigger. I would not recommend this gym.

Probably the worst Fitness First in Bangkok. Very small, messy, few workout machines and most of them have a lack of maintenance. Finally I went to register at Fitness First located in The Landmark Hotel (5 minutes by walk from Asok), and it's much better.
