Love it here for the most part.. the gate staff, the day and early evening parking garage guys, maintenance, concierge and gym/pool staff are excellent. The office staff is the worst from unorganized to just plain rude. Most of the residents are rude, entitled and unwelcoming. Theres a store and salon but it never seems to be open for working people. The pool needs a good cleaning and I wish it was open later considering how many people live here with different hours. Alot of things are geared towards the older retired people that live here and not the working class 9-5 people. We live here too..
I work for a real estate company and we are selling one of the apartments here. I've been here many times before for other units that we've sold and its always such a pleasure coming here. The security is top notch, I love that its a private/ gated community. Landscaping is done beautifully, the grounds are always spotless and each building has a doorman. I'd definitely live here with all the amenities! It feels like you're staying at a high end hotel with bellhop, on-site deli/grocery, café, fitness center, pool, salon, library and more. Its in the heart of Bayside with easy access and convenience to the mall, transportation, dining and shopping, with a surprising sense of tranquility and seclusion that makes you feel miles away!
The doorman was nice and it was beautiful which is why I give it a four star but I had a problem with a bully on the 17th floor. I lived on 17S so I’m not sure what apartment she was but I know she also lived on the 17th floor. One day, she blocks the elevator when I’m trying to get in so push her out of the way, then after I’m in the elevator, she takes her walker and pushes it into me but after about once or twice, I fight back against her and then of course she plays victim complaining to the doorman so I explained what happened and he was understanding and gave her a look. I’ll never forget his face. She was an elderly obnoxious woman. Who knows if she’s still alive. I can tell she had problems with other people. She was a horrible person.
Good view of the Throgs Neck bridge. Little noisy cuz it's near the highway but with community amenities, such as pool, fitness center, spa, basketball court, playground and gated it's safe and convenient to live. And if you have kids. The doorman is very friendly and nice.
The doormen were very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, I had a completely different experience with the security staff at the entrance. One security guard in particular, an Indian woman, was very rude. As a first-time visitor, I was expecting guidance on where to go, but instead I felt judged and was met with sarcasm. She came across as argumentative throughout the interaction and seemed unwilling to let the conversation go, making what should have been a simple visit unnecessarily unpleasant. I hope the next visit is more welcoming.
