Gimnas Low Cost Vitaliberty

Barcelona, Spain

This record is filed as Gimnas Low Cost Vitaliberty on Carrer de la Diputacio in Barcelona's Eixample. It holds a 4.1 rating from 45 Google reviews. Three warnings before anything else, and the first one could waste your trip.

If You're Coming On Gympass, Read This

A reviewer in June 2019, one star (translated from Spanish): "A disgrace. They sign up to Gympass but leave entry only for members with a card reader, and there's nobody at reception either."

So: the gym was listed on Gympass, the door needed a member card, and no staff were there to let anyone in.

That's from June 2019, so it may be long fixed, and it's one person's account of one visit. But it's the kind of failure that costs you an hour and a wasted journey, and it's cheap to prevent. If you're planning to use Gympass or any aggregator here, message the gym first and ask how a pass holder actually gets through the door, and whether reception is staffed at your hour.

Classes Cost Extra

A member in May 2019 (translated from Spanish) mentions this in passing, and it's the clearest pricing signal on the page: "I don't do classes, so for me it's perfect because I don't want to pay an extra for something I don't use."

Read that carefully. Classes are an add-on, not part of the base membership. If you're comparing this against a gym whose price includes the timetable, you're not comparing like with like.

The Name Doesn't Match The Website

The record says Vitaliberty. The linked site is fit2you.negocio.site, a free Google business page.

A reviewer in December 2019 also refers to "the new company" having taken over. So this location seems to have changed hands, and the name on this record may be two owners out of date. If you're searching Google Maps, try Fit2You at this address.

What The Regulars Actually Say

The May 2019 member gives the most useful description (translated): "Very good quality and good price. The hours are the best you can find, because considering it's open every day from 6am to midnight, there aren't many people and you can train well without having to wait to get on the machines. The receptionists are very friendly and attentive."

Six in the morning to midnight, seven days a week, and empty. That's a strong combination if it holds, and it's the single best reason to look at this place.

But notice the contradiction. That member praises the receptionists. The one-star member says there was nobody at reception at all. Both wrote within a month of each other in 2019. I can't reconcile that, and I'd guess it depends on the hour, which loops back to the same advice: ask when reception is staffed.

A member in August 2018, four stars (translated): "Small but with what's needed. Very good place to train and excellent attention from the staff."

Small but sufficient. Nobody contradicts that either.

The Record Is Old

Every review here dates from 2018 or 2019. The newest is December 2019, over six years ago.

For a budget gym that had already changed hands once by then, that's a lot of time for the hours, the price, the ownership and the Gympass arrangement to have moved. Treat everything above as a starting point for questions, not as fact.

One more oddity: the December 2019 review carries two stars but reads positively, praising the new company and asking only for punch bags for K1. Stars and words don't match, and I won't guess which one the reviewer meant.

FAQ

Does Gympass work here?

Unclear. A reviewer in June 2019 said entry required a member card and reception was unstaffed, despite the gym being on Gympass. Confirm before travelling.

Are classes included?

No. A member says classes cost extra on top of the membership.

What are the opening hours?

None are published. A member said 06:00 to midnight daily, but that was May 2019.

Is this gym called Fit2You now?

Possibly. The linked website is fit2you.negocio.site and a reviewer mentions a new company taking over.

Una verguenza se adhieren al gympass pero dejan la entrada solo para socios con lector de tarjeta, y no no hay nadie en recepcion tampoco.
