Good place to work out. Manger is very nice. Never have to worry about the weight lifters coming in and making you feel uncomfortable. Clean and good amount of machines. Never had a problem. Will stay here until i hit my desired weight

I have been a member of LA fitness for over ten years. I had to cancel my membership today because of this gym's response to COVID 19. I went today to find more than five people walking around the weight room with either no mask at all, the mask below their nose, or down around their necks. I asked one of the employees at the front desk what the rules were and he responded by saying that the mask needs to be on at all times unless you are on a cardio machine or doing a set. Then the mask needs to go back on immediately. I then asked what they were doing to enforce that and let him know that there were more than five people walking around without them. He said he would walk around and check it out, which he did, but nothing was done to address it. Also, in the video that LA Fitness put out open reopening it was explained that employees would be walking around cleaning equipment which was not happening at all. I decided to leave and cancel my membership. I was told I would be contacted ted by a manager so I could explain why I was canceling, but I just received an email canceling with no phone call. I will be joining Planet Fitness where they are actually following the CDC guidelines.
