MJA Martial Arts

Our children have studied American Kenpo at MJA for the past several years and have achieved several belt ranks. We consider ourselves extremely lucky that such an excellent school is available to us in our community. I can personally attest to the improvements I have seen in terms of not only physical development (strength, balance, agility, quickness, endurance, toughness, and surefootedness) but mental and emotional development too. This is seen in improved confidence and respect for themselves and others. It is always tough raising kids but we feel we have a real partnership with MJA and that they are 100% on the same page when it comes to helping our children become more mature and develop as human beings. I also have to highlight that the karate they have learned is deeply ingrained and they have become so good at the techniques and forms that I cannot spar with my young children any longer as their punches and kicks are too powerful for me without wearing protection!

I have been very impressed with the experience both of my kids have had since joining over a year ago. The instructors are great with kids and have had a positive impact on their lives. We are very thankful to have Sensei and his team a part of our lives.

An amazing place. I love how much time and effort they put into working with the kids. They spend one on one time with your children to help them improve. It's not like those one big class where kids just copy instructors. The people at MJA Martial Arts spend quality time with your children to give them the proper guide that they need. They realize each student is different and allows them to learn at their own pace. I love the waiting room also. If you have two different kids ( age group ) you have the opportunity to watch both at the same time. They are amazing, don't just take my word, go and find out for yourself :) You won't be disappointed.
