The absolute worst place I have ever lived. Even with an “upgraded” unit. Within the first year it was obvious that all that means is that they painted over old stuff. So much has broke, and good luck getting maintenance to answer you. You aren’t even allowed to call, but they don’t respond to the ticketing system. Be prepared to have to buy everything yourself. When we moved in, we had the wrong screens for our windows. They never responded to multiple requests, so had to buy our own. Our entire closet shelving unit collapsed immediately because it was so horribly put together, had to buy our own new one as well. The rent will go up so much per year, for literally nothing. They can’t even fix street lights or have a working dumpster. Trash is always overflowing and disgusting, and no one actually follows the “recycling” dumpster. Always furniture scattered everywhere. The only good part about this place is the location and how close it is to everything.

Moved in 2021, moved out 2025. Before Capano bought the place it was great, since then its been steadily downhill. Everything in the community became a "good enough" solution. Maintenance people are in and out, they just show up no heads up. You may get the thing replaced or you may get a worse version of it and they'll tell you to pound sand. Would not recommend anyone renting in this community given the current management.

Living here almost killed me. There was black mold in my unit and they refused to do anything. They even had someone come out to "test" who claimed it was fine while I continue to descent into sickness ending up in the ER over and over with countless problems. I was so sick at one point I had to quit my job. And they refused to let me out of my lease despite how sick I was and how positive I was that there was mold. I finally had to hire a mold test company and pay out of my own pocket $500 plus - who came out and said the mold was so bad that I needed to vacate immediately for my health. I had already been living there awhile with management refusing to do anything or even acknowledging the problem and I am assuming their "test" was a lie because my test came back with ridiculously high levels of mold. The company I hired was shocked and said I needed to leave immediately because it was a serious health hazard. I even had a separate inspector come out who said the foundation was completely rotted and there were holes in the foundation letting water in constantly. Once I showed them my tests, all of a sudden they were happy to work with me and let me out of my lease. Right. And then VERY shortly after, when I left to go to a hotel and could barely function - I come to find out the management company completely vanished into thin air and someone else took over. Coincidence? Doubt it. They had been there for years and years prior. I also talked to others in the complex who had to move out for similar issues due to mold making them sick. My dog also got very sick the second we moved in here after having been very healthy her whole life and her life also continued to deteriorate after we left. Living here destroyed my health and my life and I am still sick even today. I will never be the same or get back the years lost. What happened here is criminal, evil, unethical, cruel beyond measure. And they got away with it. It isn't right and justice should be served but there is nothing anyone can do. Do yourself a favor and do not move here unless you want your life and health completely destroyed. The entire place should just be shut down at this point. It is dangerous for people.

When we moved into Eland Downe 3 years ago, things were well taken care of and a pleasant place to live. When the management changed over, the maintenance staff left and there was little to no upkeep on the property. I had a hard wired smoke detector that was constantly beeping and I reported it after I removed it from the electrical source after weeks. I inquired about the maintenance request and was told by the management all the smoke detectors were being looked at the following week and they would be replaced since they were passed the 10 year age limit. That NEVER happened!!! We did all our own maintenance and when I gave the required 60 day notice in writing as required by the lease, I was given the run around. I was also charged for cleaning of the appliances that I did before I left. This manager is rude and even hung up on me at one point. I would not recommend dealing with this management or the parent company of CAPANO. I called the corporate office to discuss my concerns, left several messages and none were returned or acknowledged. Not good business. Very disappointed with the way things were handled.

Can’t get anything fixed, the pool is disgusting, green water, always closed cause people ruin it and don’t care. all the furniture is damaged or just missing. Electric is bad. There’s rats, trash sits. But somehow they raise the rent. Avoid this place like the plague
