Two People, Two Refunds, Fifteen Months Apart
A member in January 2024, three stars: "Be aware that they work on a contract basis and do not support any refunds, so make sure you explicitly ask the staff to terminate your contract. Also they charge you an additional 30 or 40 zl just for registration."
A visitor in April 2025, one star: "I went by recommendation so I didn't even bother to check before I paid for a day pass. Cherry on top, the manager simply refused to refund me."
Fifteen months apart, two people who don't know each other, one word in common: refund.
That's a pattern, and it's the thing on this page I'd act on. But let me be fair about the mechanism, because "they refused to refund me" and "they did something wrong" are not the same sentence.
A contract-based gym that terminates only on explicit notice is completely ordinary. So is a non-refundable day pass. The second man paid for a day, walked in, didn't like it, and wanted his money back. Most gyms in the world would say no to that, and they'd be within their terms. The first man's advice is the useful half:ask the staff explicitly to terminate the contract. He isn't saying they cheated him. He's saying the contract doesn't end because you stopped showing up.
Neither is wrong to be annoyed. But the question worth carrying in isn't "how could they" - it's "what am I signing, and how does it end?" Ask that at the desk before you pay the registration fee, and both of these reviews stop being about you.
What It Actually Is
The three-star review is the most informative thing here, and it isn't a rave: "I'd not consider it a gym. There are like 4 racks with 3 benches, a cable machine and 4-5 more machines like shoulder press and chest press. Wide range of dumbbells and barbells. Weak ventilation but nice website."
"Weak ventilation but nice website" is doing a lot of work in a small space.
A visitor in February 2025, four stars: "Good gym oriented for boxing and contact sports, there is a dedicated fighting ring, and bags area, is good to try to get in when there is not much people as may be hard to find a place to practice."
A visitor in April 2025: "The place is just an underground hole."
So: four racks, a cable machine, a handful of plate machines, a lot of free weights, a ring, bags, and a basement. If you want a full commercial floor with a machine for everything, three of these five reviews are telling you no. If you box, the ring is the whole point.
The Two-Year Member Agrees, Sort Of
A member in August 2024: "I've been a member for two years now. The place is small, but it has everything you need if you're serious about working out. The environment is great, and the people are cool."
Look at what he concedes. He doesn't argue the place is big. He says it's smallandsufficient, with a condition attached: if you're serious. That's the same room the three-star reviewer described, valued differently.
Two years is also a real commitment. Somebody who has been paying for 24 months has fewer illusions than someone on a day pass.
A visitor in May 2021: "Great location, surrounded by Public Transport and grocery/convenience stores. Clean space, friendly atmosphere and awesome facilities to shower and sauna!"
Five years old, and the only mention of a sauna anywhere. I wouldn't turn up expecting one on that basis.
The Owner Gets Named Kindly
The three-star reviewer, mid-complaint: "The staff was very kind, the owner (Maciej) is a champ, and overall this place has the atmosphere."
He docked them for the contract and the ventilation, then praised the owner by name anyway. That's a reviewer trying to be accurate rather than trying to win, which is why I trust his equipment list more than I trust the five-star ones.
What's Missing
No prices beyond the 30-40 zl registration fee from January 2024, and no day-pass figure even though a one-star review turns on it.
No confirmation that any CrossFit exists here at all.
