I've been training and staying at JP Muay Thai Gym for 2 months and it has truly been one of the best experiences I've had in Thailand. The gym has a very welcoming atmosphere and everyone treats you like family from the moment you arrive. Coach Songkom is an amazing trainer with great knowledge and experience. He always motivates you to improve and gives personal attention during training. Jay, the owner of JP Muay Thai Gym, is very friendly and professional, always making sure students and guests are comfortable and happy. Ploy and P are also incredibly kind and helpful, creating such a warm and positive environment around the gym. The training is authentic, challenging, and suitable for all levels. I've improved so much physically and mentally during my stay here. I highly recommend JP Muay Thai Gym to anyone looking for serious training, good people, and an unforgettable experie

We had an amazing time at JP!! Me and my mum were well looked after from start to finish by Ploy and the team. We are both first timers training in Muay Thai and my mum was apprehensive to start with but the trainers made us feel at ease and made the sessions really fun with a perfect mix of conditioning and combos focusing on technique. We did the group classes only and it was very sociable and supportive environment. The food was delicious and mars was a lovely host. I particularly enjoyed the run sessions and learning traditional martial arts and sword fighting (made from wood) for more variety and had a great Thai massage and yoga session in between classes. We stayed in the bungalows not far from the gym and was kindly picked up and dropped off for classes when we wanted. The pool at a local hotel is very nice and perfect way to recover for a good price, not busy when we went early. Overall a great family environment, will definitely book again! Thank you everyone at JP 🥊❤️

I have never experienced Muay Thai training before in my life, but being an adventurous active older man at 64 I thought I would try a week for education, personal protection and to tighten up and general fitness. It was an extremely tough physical week for me, but I managed to attend every session and although the first few days were extremely difficult I thoroughly enjoyed my week and walked away educated on Muay Thai, definitely fitter/tighter and stronger. 💪 Songkom, Art and Nui were very motivating and considerate trainers. 🥊🙏 I enjoyed a very comfortable stay in bungalow #7 with plenty of space, good shower, plenty of water in the fridge and good AC. Very nice design and all wooden. Al was a nice helpful guy too. 👍 You have a great team of trainers and kitchen staff that made my stay memorable. The people I trained with we're all good fun from across the world 🌎 and everybody was very friendly and supportive. We sweat a lot, we swore a lot and we laughed a lot. 🥵🤬🤣 Many thanks and best of luck with the new facility. Maybe I'll see you again next year. 🥰🥊🇬🇧🇹🇭 Ploy kindly arranged a taxi to the train station on the day I left too. 🥰

I have been to Phitsanulok JP boxing gym for 2 full weeks. To start with, I would like to definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in physical activities (doesn't matter your martial arts skills level). It is a great place to disconnect from your daily working routine, and just go to spend some time there training and have a healthy holiday full of sports and good food. If you are into Thai boxing more seriously, it is also a great place to practice your skills, and train at the highest level. Their coaches are all very experienced. Jay is a great person, and has a lot of experience in coaching high level Thai boxing. Alongside Jay, there is Songkom, New and Art, all of them with very strong background and plenty of fights during their career. All coaches work together and trying their best to adapt their session plans based on your needs. They keep their gym and camp more as a family oriented vibe, where everyone is welcomed (not just based on your boxing skills). They also have some great expats who live in Phitsanulok, and sometimes they come and share their Muay Thai knowledge (Shawn is one of them, a great example) From the logistic part, Ploy is always there to help and to make sure that everything goes smoothly with payments, food during the day, training packages that you can choose etc. Ton is the person who will assure your pickup from the airport and back, a wonderful man who is keen to help. He also coaches sometimes, and he has a lot of experience from his fighting career. After your practices are done, you have a lot of authentic Thai things that you can do. My favourite one was to experience the local foods next to the campus, and the fresh smoothies and coffees that the local prepare daily. Jay and the team also organise trips (usually on a Sunday) so if you are interested to go it is a good option to spend your day off. If you choose to chill in the camp, it is also a good choice. The Sauna and Ice bath are there for you. It is by far one of my greatest active holidays. At the beginning I was a bit skeptical about trying Muay Thai as I have very little knowledge about this sport. But now I am happy that I decided to go and I don't regret it at all. To sum up everything, great overall experience! I miss already our friends that I made in there, and I am looking forward to go again whenever I have the chance! Thank you JP boxing gym for giving me an unforgettable experience! Looking forward to seeing you agin!

I had no prior boxing/Muy Thai experience and was going to be my first time in Thailand as well. This gym offers more of an authentic experience with also providing a family oriented feel. I had the blessing of connecting with New and Art, the two younger trainers and they made my experience 10x more enjoyable. As far as the training aspect goes, they definitely know WHAT they are doing. Since it is more of an isolated place, it feels like you are being trained more "raw" and the direct training to becoming better. Not just some sort of club where they barely push you and you figure it out on your own. They do their very best to include you so that way you get the most out of the trainings. Accommodation wise, they have an ice bath/sauna that is maintained every other day. The food they provide is very good, especially considering how American I am haha. The room I stayed in was very nice, had good A/C, everything worked in there and also is maintained. Everything is clean and although everyone is sweating in this gym, nobody smelled bad and it is outside so it never smells like a "gym". All in all, Jay and Ploy and all the cooks and trainers have my love and I will most certainly come back for a longer time. It was so sad leaving and I can confidently say that I have a Thai family that is loving and caring and I hope I provided a sense of positivity there and I hope this review serves other people well. Love you JP Boxing ❤️ 🥊
