Maas Yoga

A wonderful experience with the Yoga Fit Intensive training, I loved it! Professor Martín is a genius with a special charisma; he gave me many tools to apply in my classes, and the Maas Yoga space in Recoleta is very nice. I would definitely do another workshop; I highly recommend it.

I booked a trial class for my partner and me (which we had to pay 26,000 pesos each). I used to live near the studio, but now I live much farther away. There was a lot of traffic, and I let them know I was running late. While I was traveling, I received several WhatsApp messages from the studio scolding me for the timing. I understand it's not right to arrive late, but it was the first time I'd come from another neighborhood. Parking is impossible in the area, so when we got off the bus, the class had already started. When I went back upstairs, there was no one at reception—because the same instructor who greets you is the one who teaches the class. Therefore, there was no one we could talk to to find a solution. It was the first class we had paid for, and we had come from far away. I had to go back without taking the class. Then, via WhatsApp, I asked about the possibility of rescheduling the trial class—the make-up of this paid class wasn't the studio's initiative—and first they told me they would see if that was possible and consult with the administration. In the meantime, they brought up the fact that the teacher had come to give the class to us—when there were other students present. In short, they gave us a lot of runaround and showed a complete lack of willingness to make up a trial class. It was a barrage of messages scolding us about the schedule and bringing up things that weren't true. Clearly, they kept our money for the class we couldn't attend and didn't even offer us the option to take it another day. This demonstrates the studio's dishonesty, not to mention its inhumanity in making me jump through hoops to find a solution for something as simple as having two new students pay for their trial classes, arrive late due to distance and traffic, and having the class rescheduled so they could attend. Since I see that the comment can be modified here, after everything I wrote through this channel, I demand a refund. Anyway, they handled it dramatically, saying that I even made the teacher come out in the middle of the class to open the door for me, even though there was a man fixing something at the entrance and we went up without anyone opening it. I also received several WhatsApp messages from the venue and the teacher, all trying to prove they were right. All their actions and tactics were unnecessary. And a teacher didn't come to teach the class just for two new students. If they were there just for us, they would have let us take the class anyway, despite the delay… which they did allow. Paula
