Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens

I really enjoyed my stay at the Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens. It's a bit outside the city center, which is nice because it's quiet and surrounded by trees. You can take a short taxi or metro ride to get to the main sights. The best part is the rooftop pool. You can see the Acropolis from there, especially beautiful at sunset. Breakfast had lots of good food, fresh juice, pastries, Greek yogurt, and more. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi worked great. If you want a relaxing place to stay that's still close to Athens, this hotel is a great choice. Ask for a room with an Acropolis view ... totally worth it.

Whenever possible and convenient for my location, I prefer choosing hotels from the Radisson group. I made the same choice in Athens for my trip, and once again, I was not disappointed. From check-in to check-out, everything was very well organized. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel's facilities were sufficient, the room size was adequate and clean, and housekeeping was also very good. The hotel also has a great rooftop area. Although it wasn't very active due to the season, it looks like it would be a very enjoyable spot during the summer. Overall, it was a comfortable and flawless stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Radisson Blu. The staff across the hotel were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The team at the service desk, in particular, stood out for their friendliness and support. Our room was spotless, well maintained, and offered a lovely view of the Acropolis. Breakfast was excellent, with good quality and a wide variety of options. The sauna was enjoyable, although it was disappointing that the swimming pool was closed. A jacuzzi would have been a great addition. The only downside was the customer service over the phone prior to our visit. When we tried calling the hotel, the staff member on the line was not very helpful, had difficulty understanding English, and disconnected the call without resolving our query. That said, once we arrived at the hotel, the overall experience was excellent and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Rooms are spacious and breakfast was really good. Staff in general was very friendly except for the Night reception staff. When I left the hotel at around 5:15 a.m., a member of the night staff ran after me and demanded that I provide my room number. I explained that I was not checking out and was simply leaving the hotel temporarily. Despite this, another staff member approached me in an aggressive manner and insisted that I immediately provide my room number, stating that it was for my own security. I was effectively prevented from leaving until I complied. I found this behavior both surprising and unacceptable. While I understand that hotels have security procedures, they should be carried out politely and respectfully. The approach taken by the night staff felt more like being confronted by nightclub bouncers than being assisted by hospitality professionals, which left a very negative impression of my stay.

I put 3/5 just because of roof bar with excellent service and people working there💙as well as breakfast was very good with greek cheeses and good espresso. I was thinking of rating even lower. Why. 1) I am premium member but no room upgrade received. 2) Location is awful, mind that Victoria and Omonia is very unpleasant area with the dirty streets and low social level of people. I cannot say it's dangerous, since I was running in the early morning alone. At the same time it is shocking and creepy to see vandalism and people who are not only homeless but also drug users doing it openly and lying in atisanitaria... I have not googled about area of Radisson beforehand, my bad maybe. I will never book this hotel in the future. Since you cannot enjoy the city here... For me, personally it is better to choose Kolonaki or closer to the sea areas. 3) Internet was poor. Even if youtube is available BUT you cannot use it. 4) some small little issues what influenced my experience with service, like misinformation about our breakfast, it was included but we were informed that it was not. I asked several times about re-filling body wash but I have got shampoos and lotion and conditioner BUT not body wash. I mean, just tell me "we do not have it"😁why to bring all other stuff what I do not need. I am very spoiled with Radisson services in different countries and especially in Estonia Olumpia hotel! At the same time I choose Radisson exactly because I expect this standard. When I am travelling with family and my kids this is must. Hope this feedback will be taken into consideration. Thank you.
