Gimnas Mcfit Palma - Gym in Illes Balears, Spain

They still have all the same equipment from the time when it was a McFit until 2024. Unfortunately, the equipment seems to be not serviced much, so it's a little rusty now. Still, it's great that they provide day- and 3-day-passes, which you can register for easily via there self-service terminals at the entrance. A great option for when you're on vacation.

This gym is a bit of a maze with all its different rooms. The machines are ok, a bit old but at least multiple ones for every muscle group. The weight lifting zone, although being quite big, has a very low ceiling, making it very warm and not feeling spacious. Also it is super busy all the time, every bench and cable machine taken. There are also some empty zones which could be used better with more cable machines for example. Definitely room for improvement here!

Underwhelming experience. Entrance reminded more of a prison, no staff, no free water. I used to come here back when it was MCFIT. now it is basic fit - and this place lost all of its vibe. You have to enter via a QR code and pass a turnstile. This feels so unwelcoming. The cleaning guy needed to tell me how to use it. In the free weight area , there is no window, staff never racks up the weights. Just underwhelming- and 11.99 for a day pass is quite pricy. Please use other options or the hotel gym

Pro: many free weight machines Con: old machines that even move around, claustrophobic room where it's even hard to breathe. Pro: Aircon Con they don't turn it on, it's like 40 degrees down here and people go dizzy. Pro: big and big lockers Con: chaotic and smelly As far as basic fits go it's very average, the heat is a seriously bad issue and some machines borderline being dangerous. If you do t lift weights, cardio and cable machine s is like a 4 star. Check the video, this happens with practically every machine. And it's not safe,sorry, especially when lifting heavy

WORST GYM I EVER SAW IN MY LIFE !!!! IT IS A GARBAGE DUMP . I HAVE BEEN TRAINING FOR 30 YEARS, NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I SEEN SUCH A BAD GYM, NO ONE CLEANS UP OR PUTS THINGS AWAY. I THINK MANY HAND WEIGHTS ARE MISSING OR HAVE BEEN STOLEN. I SPENT MOST OF MY TIME TRYING TO FIND MATCHING HAND WEIGHTS. THIS PLACE WAS DIRTY, SMELLY, AND HUMID. THE OVERALL ATTITUDE WAS VERY AGGRESSIVE, UNFRIENDLY, AND STEROID ABUSE . I HAD TOO TAKE PHOTOS BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD BELIEVE ME OF THIS BAD REVIEW. AFTER SPEAKING TO ABOUT 8 MEMBERS IN THE 30 MIN TIME I WAS THERE, ALL SAID THEY THINK THE PLACE IS IN BAD SHAPE AND PROBLEMS WITH NO ONE PUTTING ANYTHING AWAY. AGAIN 30 YEARS OF TRAINING IN GYMS ALL OVER THE WORLD, AND NEVER HAVE I SEEN A GARBAGE HOLE LIKE THIS PLACE...I WENT DIRECT TO DESK AND COMPLAINED , THEY SAID THIS TYPE OF COMPLAINS IS EVERY DAY, ALL DAY..AND THEY ARE UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THEY SAY THE CLIENTELE DO AS THEY PLEASE AND DO NOT WANT TO KEEP THE PLACE TIDY, OR EVEN CLEAN. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. PAY THE EXTRA 10 EURO PER MONTH TO GO TO A CLEAN GYM. TO BAD I COULD NOT GIVE ZERO STAR, 1 STAR IS WAY TOO MUCH. The photos was taken while about 8 people where in free weight area At 11 am. I would hate to see it at evening after 5 or 6 pm. As far as machines go, the space is small and narrow hallways , not many machines , maybe 1 of each kind...the place is too small to hold 2 machines of the same type..so at peak hours this place is madness, very , very humid sweat box. gym in Palma kost 30 euro per month sometimes cheaper. I highly suggest staying away from this place. I have an EU McFit membership that is paid for , and I still will not enter this mcfit. I paid to go somewhere else...that is pathetic.
