I regularly do Matts classes at Pure Gym in Reading. He's very thorough, really knowledgable and a wonderful instructor overall. His classes always push me beyond what I think I can do. Pure is lucky to have him, a great addition to the Reading team.

Thats my favourite gym in Reading. They offer affordable memberships and the sign up process is simple. Facilities are large with lots of equipment. The main points for me are the gym is not too overcrowded to affect my training but also the big windows allow for natural light to come through.

Gym is great, equipment etc. but the aircon is the main issue for me. The gym is stuffy, way too hot, almost as if there is no air flow. From the minute I walk in I already have a sick feeling maybe because it's summer it is worse but it's always been like this and it's my second year here. Makes me hate the gym when you're trying to catch your breathe and it's just warm air and armpits.
