Friendly and helpful staff always around. Gym instructors available to lend a hand and the general atmosphere is just clean and organised. It really motivated me to work out hard. They take covid protocols very seriously from what I've seen. They encourage the wiping down of machines you've used and sometimes I've seen the staff on the floor just wipe them over again for good measure! Very appreciative of this. Love going here for gym.
The gym is no Virgin Active, but it's the only other viable option I have in Gaborone as of 2025. Equipment needs better maintenance and the bathrooms need serious attention!🤮 Pros: Great views out of large glass windows on both floors.👍👍 Most of the staff are friendly. Cons: What I initially mentioned. They got rid of the steam room, sauna and the pool.👎👎
Pros: most staff are friendly, good location for those working/living in CBD, discounts for iTowers residents Cons: insufficient AC makes cardio difficult when it’s hot, limited number of duplicate weights means you’re waiting around when it’s busy, gym-goers often don’t put weights back or put them back in the wrong spot; most treadmills are limited to 20 minutes even when it’s not peak hours; wifi now only available with a piece of paper you have to get from the front desk every single time; early closing times on weekends; bathrooms often poorly stocked; pool is now fetid and green, permanently out of service; staff enforce rules inconsistently (rules on attire, specifically, which should be nixed or relaxed); equipment, like rowing machines is worn, screens hard to see, foot straps don’t stay tight
Steam room and sauna broke a year ago, no effort made to repair. Pool is dirty. The seat in men's locker room is in bad shape, was just left there during extensive renovation. Now the gym says they can only offer 30 min of off-street parking in a tiny lot. Pretty much only reason to join is if you live near , work or visit CBD on regular basis.
Extremely poor customer service and completely overpriced for what’s offered. The gym has limited equipment, no proper squat or deadlift racks, and the space is uncomfortably small, more like a hotel setup than a serious gym. Definitely not worth the membership unless you’re only paying for convenience like I do.
