Tonus Klub Aktivledi

Serbia

Tonus Klub Aktivledi in Belgrade shows 4.6 from 352 reviews, and its five written reviews reveal a sharp split between two detailed, specific complaints about the pool area's hygiene and design, and more positive, general accounts of the gym and atmosphere.

A Detailed, Serious Complaint About Pool Hygiene and Facilities

Jelena Djukic's review is by far the most detailed and critical here: "The pool has potential, it's just big enough to swim and the water was warm, the receptionist was nice, and that's about it when it comes to the positives. Unfortunately, it really needs some love, think the bathroom that locks and whose doors are not broken, actual soap in the soap dispenser, cleaning the mould, and well, everything. Another annoying thing was the jacuzzi pump inside the pool that couldn't be turned off, so it would create a current which made swimming in a line difficult. Keep in mind that the only shower is in the pool area, so you can only shower in your swimming suit, and there is nowhere to sit or put your things around apart from a hanger. You need your own soap. You need to bring your own towels too, or pay 200 RSD. The locker area is not heated, and there's no blow dryer. It's crazy to think they have classes for babies here, I really can't imagine how that could possibly work in this space." I'd flag this in full detail rather than summarize it away, since it's an itemized list of specific, verifiable issues, mould, a non-functional door lock, an empty soap dispenser, an always-on jacuzzi current, and an unheated locker room, that together paint a much more concrete picture than a general dissatisfaction, and her closing question about baby classes in this same space is a legitimate concern worth asking about directly if that program interests you.

A Specific Complaint About Equipment Quantity

Neda God's review adds a separate, distinct concern about the strength and cardio side: "They don't have enough gym equipment to be as good as the other gyms in the city." I'd treat this as a specific comparative claim against other local gyms, worth confirming directly if equipment variety and availability during busy hours matters to you.

Additional Positive Accounts of the Pool and General Atmosphere

Milos Karapandzic's review keeps things brief but enthusiastic, describing an intense, sweat-inducing workout at a gym he calls great. Danijela Andrejic's review focuses specifically on the pool, describing warm water and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, which contrasts with Jelena's more detailed hygiene complaint from roughly two years later. Nikola Ermenkov's review, from May 2025, adds a brief, general recommendation.

What's Missing

Nothing here confirms whether the specific pool hygiene issues Jelena described in January 2024 have since been addressed. No review states exact membership or day-pass pricing beyond the 200 RSD towel rental fee she mentions.

Who It's Not For

Anyone with high hygiene expectations for a pool and locker area, given one detailed, specific complaint about mould, a broken lock, and other maintenance gaps. Anyone who needs a wide variety of gym equipment during busy hours, given at least one specific complaint that equipment quantity falls short compared to other gyms in the city.

The pool has potential- it's just big enough to swim and the water was warm; the receptionist was nice and that's about it when it comes to the positives. Unfortunately, it really needs some love (loots)- think the bathroom that locks and whose doors are not broken, actual soap in the soap dispenser, cleaning the mould and well, everything. Another annoying thing was the jacuzzi pump inside the pool that couldn't be turned off so it would create a current which made swimming in a line difficult. If you still decide to go give it a try, keep in mind that the only shower is in the pool area so you can only shower in your swimming suit and there is nowhere to sit/put your things around apart from a hanger. You need your own soap etc as I mentioned. You need to bring your own towels too or pay 200RSD. The locker area is not heated and there's no blow dryer (there's one in the gym though). It's crazy to think they have classes for babies here, I really can't imagine how that could possibly work in this space.
