Rose at Witt Pilates is absolutely amazing! From the moment you walk into her class, you can feel her warmth and genuine passion for what she does. She creates such a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable, no matter their level. Her classes are thoughtfully designed - she challenges you in the best way while also helping you listen to your body and move with intention. Rose has an incredible ability to balance fun, focus, and encouragement, and her positive energy is truly contagious. I always leave her sessions feeling stronger, more centered, and inspired. She's one of the main reasons I look forward to coming to the studio. Witt Pilates is so lucky to have her!

Having read the many negative posts regarding this business, I felt obliged to to share that I also experienced the same negativity, hostility and plain unprofessional experience from the owner of this establishment. Please think twice before joining this studio. There are so many other wonderful Pilates and yoga classes in the area who are welcoming, friendly and take the time to work with you at whatever level you are comfortable with.

I had a horrible experience here. The owner is very nasty, moody, and temperamental. She spoke to me in the most condescending manner and handled herself in the most unprofessional way. I was excited to check the spot out and got a really good deal on Groupon. Unfortunately, just moments after arriving to the studio I was forced to turn around because I could not tolerate the negative energy. Save yourself the trouble and frustration and reconsider before visiting.

What a horrible experience as a new customer at an establishment!!! I have been looking for a Pilates studio and am trying out different locations to see what would be the best fit. I did a trial class at a different place and bought the Groupon to try this one out as well. The Groupon was annoying and not working properly (which is fine!) so I called to verify the booking went through. It did for me but not for the other person that booked along with me so we figured that out and confirmed we would both be there for the beginners reformer class. I was told to get there early, so I arrive 20 minutes prior to the class start time. The building is dark and locked so I go back to my car and wait. More and more cars show up and eventually a few minutes before 5 someone shows up and unlocks the door. Everyone walks in and starts preparing for class. No one that works there is around. After standing around a few minutes looking for the instructor or a worker and also looking for the bathroom one of the other participants asks if we need the bathroom and shows us where it's at. Then the instructor comes around the corner saying "yeah I know I have 2 new people" walks over to me and hands me 2 clipboards and tells me to fill them out both sides and walks away again. I'm almost done filling mine out and the other new person grabs the clipboard, sees the first line is credit card information and pulls out her phone to get the info. This is when the instructor decides to walk back over and berate us for not filling out the form and "being on our phone"- when I tell her she was just trying to fill out the credit card information on the form she gets exasperated and says I need to start class just sign and fill out the emergency contact info. Now at this point I'm frustrated and confused. We're new, have never been here before, no one has said "hi" or welcome or literally anything other than barking commands and generally just being annoyed that we're even there. When I point out that we were there early specifically to do this stuff she said yeah sorry I got stuck in traffic.... Listen, I completely understand having a bad day, running late, all of these things. I always want to give grace and honestly if I was alone I probably would have shrugged it off, did the class and maybe given it another try. Unfortunately, the person I was with that the instructor was so rude and condescending to was my school teacher daughter who was super nervous about doing a class and especially on a "machine". So I told the instructor that this just wasn't going to work and left. Who would feel comfortable after that kind of encounter and being rushed into a new thing? It seems like once you're "in" with this place it's an overall ok experience for those people but for anyone coming in it's an unprofessional "you should be so lucky to be here" type vibe. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to the class! It seems all of the bad reviews have the same theme running through them, I wish I took a look before I brought my daughter with me. I feel responsible for her having this crappy experience.

I had a very disappointing and discriminatory experience with Witt Pilates. I am hard of hearing and signed up for a package of 10 group classes that were advertised as appropriate for "newbies." I attended two group classes without incident. Before and during class, I simply asked that instructors face me when giving instructions, as I was unfamiliar with the equipment and rely on visual cues. This is a very minimal and reasonable accommodation. When I attempted to attend my third class, the owner called me and told me I was no longer welcome in group classes. I was told that the instructors were "uncomfortable," that they could not "focus on other people in class," and that excluding me was "for everyone's safety." I was then told my only option was to take private lessons at a higher cost. No other accommodations were offered. I had already demonstrated that I could participate safely and appropriately, and no safety issue had occurred. I was excluded solely because of my hearing disability and my request for basic communication access. Denying someone access to group classes and requiring them to pay more because of a disability is discriminatory and not acceptable for a business open to the public. Asking an instructor to face a participant when giving instructions does not prevent them from teaching others. I would strongly caution anyone with a disability - or anyone who expects inclusive, professional practices - to think twice before coming here.
