If you train in summer, read this first: two separate reviewers say MoFit's air conditioning has been broken for three summers running. That's the one fact I'd want before I signed anything here. MoFit Fitness Club is a full fitness center in Zagreb rated 4.2 across 412 votes, and the equipment gets steady praise. The heat is the recurring problem.

The AC pattern is the real story

A three-star from June 2025 lays it out: generally a nice gym with great courses, but the non-operational AC, in their words "under repair for 3 summers in a row," makes it a hustle when it's over 30 degrees, and fans plus open windows aren't enough. A separate two-star from July 2025 says the same thing independently, "Over 30 degrees and still no air-conditioning for the 3rd summer in a row. Just open windows, fans and ventilation."

Two voices, a month apart, naming the same three-summer timeline. When two strangers report the identical detail, it stops being a bad day and starts being a condition of the building. I'll flag the boring possibility too: commercial AC in an older facility can be a genuine repair saga, not neglect, especially if the unit needs parts or a landlord's sign-off. Either way, if you're heat-sensitive and considering a summer membership, that's a phone call to make before you pay.

What the average is measuring

At 412 votes the 4.2 is a real number, and the words match it. This isn't a thin listing where one review swings the score. The equipment praise is broad. A December 2025 five-star calls it a fully equipped, fantastic gym with excellent staff. A March 2026 visitor from Copenhagen tried it while in Croatia and rated the machines for all muscle groups a 10 out of 10. So the hardware and the people are doing the lifting on the rating, and the climate control is dragging it.

The older complaint

The one-star sitting in the record is from December 2019 and reads differently: overcrowded gym, overused equipment, and what the reviewer called a very strange approach to members over membership fees, while conceding the staff and some trainers were nice. That's more than six years old now. Crowding and fee policy may have changed since; I won't treat a 2019 note as current. It's worth asking about fee terms directly rather than assuming.

What's missing

No review quotes a membership price or a day-pass rate, so budget on a call or a look at mofit.hr. Nobody describes the locker rooms or shower condition in detail. And the phone field is blank in this record, so the website is your contact route.

Who it's not for

Skip a summer signup if you can't train in a warm room, at least until you've confirmed the AC is fixed. Anyone training in the cooler months, or anyone who mainly cares about machine variety, is looking at a well-liked gym by the numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Is the air conditioning fixed?

Unknown from the reviews. Two members, in June and July 2025, said it had been out for three summers straight. Call or check mofit.hr before committing to a summer membership.

Is MoFit well equipped?

By the reviews, yes. Multiple five-star members and a visiting tourist in March 2026 praised the range of machines for all muscle groups.

How much does membership cost?

No review states a price. The record lists no phone number, so mofit.hr is the place to check current rates and fee terms.

Overcrowded gym with overused equipment and very strange approach to members when it comes to membership fees. Unfortunately, nice staff and a few good trainers cannot fix the overall impression.
