A Review That Belongs Somewhere Else
Yossi Stoliar's four-star review needs to be set aside entirely: "Great place for pizza, really imperial. Huge and historic place. There is a figure of an Argentine comedian at the entrance. Excellent focaccia and excellent mozzarella. Good service. In the area is also the cemetery of Chacarita, also full of palaces and huge tombs." That's a review of a pizzeria, almost certainly misattached to this listing rather than a genuine account of the Pilates studio. I'm flagging it rather than folding it into the gym's picture, since treating a pizza review as evidence about a Pilates studio would be actively misleading.
Two Recent Complaints, Same Month
Pau Bouquett's one-star review, August 2024, is detailed and specific about a booking failure: "The classes aren't dynamic; they're repetitive and lack combined exercises or equipment. On the day I signed up, I specified that I wouldn't be able to attend a particular class, and the instructor told me it was possible to make it up. Despite my insistence, the instructor's response throughout the month was that he would send me the schedule the following week, which he never did. At the end of the month, he told me it wasn't possible to make up the classes. He also cancelled a class one hour before it was scheduled." Mariela Antonini, the same month, one star, describes a separate but related financial issue: "Terrible experience. It's not up to the standard of physical therapy rehabilitation. They didn't refund the money I was owed, nor did they provide the classes I was entitled to."

An Instructor Named Warmly, Years Earlier

William Ortega, translated from Spanish, November 2019: "It's a small space, since it only has 4 beds, but that makes the training more comfortable and cozy. You feel like you're at home. Maybe, because of the number of spots, it's not always easy to schedule classes at a certain time, I admit. However, Roberto, the instructor, does everything he can to schedule all of us. He's always willing to explain things and clear up doubts." Laura Jaet, February 2018: "An excellent professional. Roberto is undoubtedly a very good instructor. I'm very happy with my Pilates classes."
What Might Have Changed
Between Laura's 2018 review and the two 2024 complaints, there's a six-year gap with nothing written in between. It's possible Roberto, praised specifically and warmly in both older reviews, is no longer the instructor behind the more recent scheduling and refund complaints - I can't confirm that from five reviews, but the sharp contrast between the two eras is worth noticing rather than treating this as one continuous experience.

No review states an exact price, beyond Pau's description of it as "moderate." Nothing confirms who currently teaches here, or whether Roberto is still involved.

Anyone who needs guaranteed make-up scheduling for missed classes - two recent, independent reviewers describe unresolved issues with exactly that. Anyone relying on a refund policy being honored without pushing, based on one specific unrefunded-balance complaint.
