Love this gym! The vibes are great and the variety of machines is amazing. Most of the staff are kind and friendly. A special shout out to Emaan for making everyone feel welcome and creating such a strong sense of belonging for her customers. Only suggestion I have is to be open later on Friday Saturday and Sunday's, tysm.
I've been coming here for four years and I had nothing but good things to say about this gym. Barely any waiting times and nice people upfront. And focus has an owner that genuinely cares for the people, which is very big in my opinion.
Just started here after years at AB bernal so my expectations are wanting the same. FF is clean, bright, nice restrooms- but over half the equipment nobody uses. Update - I have been going here a few months and really enjoy morning workouts. Not too crowded and a good mix of people. I would love to see another leg press, a squat V machine and more plate racks and another leg extension machine. I expanded my membership and for 10 dollars extra per month I can go to any of the 5 gyms. Bernal American Barbell is my favorite but I train mostly at focus
Have been going here for a few years and really like this gym. Great value for money - the hours used to be quite restrictive for a basic membership but now they've adjusted their hours to be more flexible, even though the price has gone up a bit as well. I'd rather pay the current membership price to have the ability to go later at night. I find that it's easy to avoid crowds here - around 7-8PM there are maybe like 10-15 people in there, which allows you to use most of the equipment without having to wait much. They have lots of equipment and they've been upgrading things over the years - which is great. I also like that they have a smoothie bar as well for an occasional treat. Staff used to be so friendly back in the day, now it seems like everyone is just on their phone, which is fine I guess. Overall - great option!
They brought in a new bicep curl machine and its somehow worse than the god awful one they had originally. Pls return it while you can 😭😭🙏
