Two reviews of Soul Fitness in Krakow, written three months apart, describe what sounds like two different gyms. That contradiction is the most useful thing in this record, so let's start there instead of with the 4.5 average.
The equipment dispute
A member in January 2017 left a long, careful four-star review (translated from Polish): "A fairly large gym, well equipped, new gear, well maintained, a decent choice of machines, and plenty of free dumbbells too. The people are normal, no overrepresentation of meatheads. The instructors are active, they don't sit behind the counter but walk around and help - importantly, they point it out if someone trains with bad form." He added the honest flaws himself: "there's just no sauna in the men's locker room," "the showers could be improved a bit," and "sometimes it gets cramped in the evening." He also noted he'd tried several gyms in the area and liked this one best.
Then April 2017, one star (translated from Polish): "Dirty, old equipment, trainers aren't always present, and the ladies at reception can't turn the machines on at the mains; right now half of them don't work and that's not rare... Stuffy and it smells."
So which is it, new and well maintained or old and half-broken? I can't resolve that from here, and you shouldn't assume the angry review is exaggerating or that the happy one is staged. Both people trained there. It's possible the place slipped in a few months, or that the two used different rooms. The point is the record disagrees with itself, and only a visit settles it.
Where the rest land
The other voices lean positive. An August 2017 member called it "one of the best gyms in Krakow" with "trainers with passion" who "come over, advise, take an interest in you" (translated from Polish). Another that same month wrote simply "Big gym. Everything works as it should. I like it" (translated from Polish), which is worth noting because it directly contradicts the "half don't work" complaint from a few months earlier. The earliest, in English from February 2016, said only "Quite, clean and enough machines."
What that 4.5 measures, and the gap
This is a small sample: 10 ratings. At that size, one one-star review already drags the average down toward the low fours, so the score is fragile. And here's the shape worth naming: the written reviews stop in 2017. There's no recent feedback in this record at all. That doesn't mean the gym closed, and I won't guess that it did. It means the words you're reading are years old and the equipment dispute they describe is long unresolved.
What's missing
No review states a membership price. No current hours are listed. Nobody confirms whether the men's sauna the 2017 reviewer wanted ever got installed. A two-minute phone call to the number on file would tell you more than this whole page.
FAQ
Is the equipment good or run down?
The reviews split. A January 2017 member called it new and well maintained; an April 2017 member called it old with half the machines broken. Only a current visit resolves it.
Are the trainers helpful?
Several reviewers praised active, hands-on instructors who correct form. One dissenting review said trainers weren't always present.
Is the feedback current?
No. The written reviews in this record end in 2017. Call ahead for anything recent, including price and hours.
