Great gym. Plenty of options and good price, particularly for family membership.

My husband and I are in Cadiz for two weeks and are so happy we found this gym. We were able to get a two-week membership, which is great. The gym is HUGE with a lot of cardio machines and a variety of equipment. There's also a swimming pool, and the selection of fitness classes is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We are thrilled to have found this place.

The facilities are new, modern, clean, comfortable, very well maintained and taken care of. All of the people engaged in the administration, customer service, (additional) help and support, and instruction are very attentive, polite and caring. The Aqua gym instructor was exceptional! He kept all participants happily engaged every single second, no matter how strenuous the activity was or could be. He was aware of the problems that some of us could have and made sure we were always ok. I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend Forus Cadiz!

Over all I've been very happy with Forus Cadiz. It's true in the past the reception staff have been less than friendly but this year I have found the staff to be helpful and have received much friendlier service. (That said, keep your expectations moderate and don't expect to be greeted when you walk in the door or have service with a smile!!). The exterior of the building can get really ugly with rubbish piling up outside of it. That being said after pointing it out to Forus both here and in an email they have tidied up the worst of it. So it's nice that they read and respond to feedback - thank you. I hope that the cleaning staff continue to do a daily rubbish collection since there is still rubbish along the wall and curb and no doubt between the wind and smokers there will always be removal to do. A little effort would make a big difference. Thank you.

I am German and was a member of this club this past year as I was studying Erasmus in Cadiz. I have to say I was witness to all the complaints listed by others...the very rude front desk staff, the uninterested and distracted training staff (always on their phones), the lack of opening on time in the mornings, but was most shocking was that friends/colleagues who wanted to visit this gym while visiting Cadiz were unable to do so as there were no weekly passes. Very, very frustrating as I had to go alone to this gym without my friends or brother. He was not happy about it. But a solution has arisen! My brother was visiting Spain and was able to visit FORUS Malaga and FORUS Granada, all on weekly passes. And my brother NOW works for JP Morgan Asset Management in New York. Imagine his surprise when he found out his company through their holding company LYNSTONE had acquired multiple gyms in Spain including the one in Cadiz managed by FORUS through it's owner Ignacio. I am putting together a small report on ALL the shortcomings at FORUS Cadiz including their lack of short-term passes which they are not happy about considering it is a major revenue driver at the other FORUS locations across Spain. In fact, they don't understand how this can be possible as it greatly affects the bottom line at this club. The suspicion is that it is tied into the anti-tourist sentiment growing in Spain and may have something to do with the local management's political stance. However, this will soon be addressed as I'm putting together some notes for his team. As they say, it is embarrassing for an organization to not have consistency. How can you have some FORUS gyms allow short term visitors and others not? It is Business School 101 to have a company wide policy implemented and adhered to. And you have NO idea what you overhear in the gym (in Spanish) when you are a blond haired, caucasian person who people think doesn't understand Spanish. Every day I hear the older clients complain about this club's management. The complaints range from the incredibly lazy work staff to financial mismanagement to worse things which I won't write here. But I hear these conversations every day, from every aspect of the clientele, young and old. I have seen and heard enough to write two books and I have seen this club go downhill in person over the last year. I'm only happy that now something can be done about it. I think if all this continues there will be big management changes at FORUS Cadiz very soon. Perhaps I even know it.
