EvoFit Surprise

I've been going to this gym location for a couple years and now it's under new management. I never had a bad experience, but also never had a good reason to leave a review. 5 stars because they are listening to their customers. After a survey and a lot of people requested a kids section for the convenience to take their children and workout, the gym is building a brand new walled off section. That's awesome. But my 5 stars is because today while the construction is going on. There were a few workers blocking the water fountains (to do their job). I poked my head in to ask the manager if I could have a water from the fridge to not get in the workers way, she couldn't give me one from the vending machine so she gave me one that she brought in for herself. She definitely didn't have to do that as she could have just said that there's another fountain upstairs. That's amazing customer service.

I went in with a friend last year and we both canceled our memberships at the same time at the front desk. Her cancellation went through, however, mine did not, despite being cancelled at the same time. Since then I’ve been charged each month for the membership, despite my multiple attempts at cancelling it as well as being told back around July by the lady at the front desk that it had be canceled properly. Now I am being shown that I am 2 months behind on membership payments, on my new credit card, for a membership I was told was canceled long ago, for a gym I haven’t even gone to in almost a year. Even during the Covid19 epidemic, when gyms are closed. Anyone looking to get a gym membership here should really reconsider unless they’d like to be paying for it for the rest of their lifetime.
