A gym like the ones from back in the day (i.e., without a spa, pool, massages, etc.) at a reasonable price in Bilbao. Much appreciated! The facilities are high-end, but the equipment is well-maintained and there's no shortage of instructors.
It's all well and good, but the €19.90 they advertise in big letters isn't a lie, it's just that it's the rate if you sign up for a certain amount of time... It's €39.90 per month. Plus, there's a registration fee of almost €50! With freebies I don't want at all. And on top of that, they charge you €5 for drinks, which you can cancel, but wouldn't it be better to ask first if you want it? Water is free.
No soy cliente pero si que vivo en Bilbao. Lo han cerrado sin previo aviso ni por tlf, ni por email, ni con cartel. Se han llevado dinero de usuarios que pagaron por adelantado, incluso cuotas de más de un año. E incluso hay usuarios que tienen la ropa todavía en las taquillas. El dueño del Gimnasio se ha llevado el dinero de los usuarios, para seguir estafando en otro lugar.
The truth is, I'm very unhappy with this gym, and not so much with the instructors, who I think are great professionals, but mainly with the management. They're permanently eliminating some classes, and for others, since they have a minimum of five people required for the class to run, if that number isn't reached, there's no class. Basically, you might pay a membership fee and not know if you'll be able to do any of the activities at the scheduled time. Some classes have been permanently canceled, and for others, you don't know if you'll even get a class until the very last minute. So, if anyone is thinking of joining, be aware that this could happen to you.
