Love this gym! It's always clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of equipment for all types of workouts. The atmosphere is great, the change rooms and showers are very nice, and the classes are fantastic. The instructors do an amazing job, and the classes are a big reason I keep coming back. Highly recommend!
I was visiting from Calgary and tried Movati with a guest pass.| was blown away by how clean, spacious, and well-maintained everything was. The staff were welcoming and the members were friendly. I absolutely love attending yoga classes with Lynda's at MOVATI Mississauga! She is incredibly knowledgeable and creates such a welcoming and inspiring environment for everyone in the room. Her classes flow beautifully - she incorporates a wide range of poses with seamless transitions that make the entire practice feel balanced and intentional. What I really appreciate is how she always provides multiple options for each pose, making her classes inclusive for both beginners and advanced yogis. I have been a member for a few years now and have really enjoyed the variety of classes available, particularly Yin Yoga. Recently, I started personal training with Ben MacDonald and I am now in week 4 of my training. I have been genuinely surprised by my progress. I wanted to start taking weight training seriously, but I did not really know where to begin. I chose Ben because I had seen him run specialty classes at the gym and viewed him as someone experienced, knowledgeable, and holistic in his approach, including performance stretching and breathwork. By week 4, I had stopped experiencing the leg pain that was beginning to keep me awake at night. I have also been blown away by the improvement in the amount of weight I am able to lift. I initially signed up for 3 months, but I am hoping to continue beyond that. I have really begun to enjoy going to the gym. Thank you, Ben. On another note, I was disappointed by how difficult it was to cancel my son's membership. It required multiple conversations, an in-person visit from him, another discussion with the front desk, and a follow-up email from him. In the meantime, payments continued to come out of my account. After the final conversation, where I was understandably upset, the last two billings were promptly refunded. I appreciated that. However, I was disappointed that Movati made the cancellation process so difficult and continued to take payments after we had already started the cancellation process. For a club of this level, I expected a smoother and more professional experience.
There is so much body hair everywhere. The mats need to be vacuum more. I like the two rythm and beats instructors. They are the reason for the 2 stars and not zero stars. But seriously the gym needs to be cleaned better and the towels smell like rust.
