We had our kid’s 6th birthday party here; it was amazing! He had the best time, and so did the 20+ kids who attended. The obstacles were just right for the group. The staff were great with engaging the kids and showing them what to do. They were tremendous with the small things too, like lighting candles and cutting/serving cake.

King's Camp has been a fun and inspiring place! So glad we found the only current Obstacle Course Race training playground and are excited to return for more.

TL;DR: If you're looking to up your fitness game and to train for obstacle course racing, come to King's Camps and Fitness. You won't find anything better in the Bay Area. Mike King has been doing OCR since the beginning of the sport and was an athlete long before then. He has since taken his experience and created a facility that caters to both OCR veterans and newbies alike. Walls, ramps, ropes, monkey bars, rigs, and even warped walls are just a few of the obstacles that you'll get to play with at the gym. During an Open Gym training session, you may find both top tier pro/sponsored athletes training alongside newbies and enthusiasts.Mike and his wife Jenny have created an amazing community for OCR and fitness enthusiasts and continue to raise the bar by creating new obstacles. Mike has even introduced his own Royal Race series that features signature obstacles not found on the more popular racing circuits. This is THE obstacle course racing (OCR) gym in the Bay Area to go to. I've been training with Mike since 2015 and his programming has taken me from struggling to complete Spartan Races to finishing 24 hour obstacle races (Spartan Ultrabeast/ World's Toughest Mudder) and ultramarathons.

* Unsafe obstacle collapsed due to gym negligence (see video) * Inadequate first aid provided at gym * No responsibility taken and victim blaming afterwards I chose to get my birthday party hosted here. The obstacle course was not setup safely due to the gym's negligence. We didn't even go half of our reserved party time before I got injured. The obstacle collapsed underneath me when I touched it (see video). The gym didn't provide adequate first aid (ice packs provided were not cold) and I had to get rushed to urgent care as I couldn't feel my foot/shin. Ended up with a 1cm indent into my shin and needed a splint and crutches. I still have 0 feeling left in my shin. The gym refuses to accept any form of responsibility. "if he had landed correctly he wouldn't have gotten injured" (said before we showed them the video) "others used the obstacle without injury" (yea...just because something is unsafe doesn't mean it breaks every time...) "We are heartened to hear that your guests enjoyed the event, supporting each other and embracing new challenges that were both exhilarating and rewarding." "We are happy to know that your friend experienced only superficial injury to their shin." (who says superficial...) These activities inherently come with risk of injury but this happened because the gym was negligent. There's nothing but a couple of small bags keeping the balance on the crate. No fasteners, knots, tape. Balance beam wasn't even designed to be used on an incline.

Definitely do not come here. It is UNSAFE. The equipment is not set up properly and the owner takes no responsibility for injuries that are fully the fault of the team who works here. Please watch this video of my friend getting injured simply by stepping on the balance beam so you are not similarly injured.
