Revised rating due to Customer Service Response : 2 - 3 star - - - - - - - - - - Review of : Gym Tour. Tour Assistant - Abi Initially the tour started off well, receptionist was extremely well-manored and happy. The tour staff was also very polite and appeared interested in trying to help me. Once she began asking about my own training and how I planned on using the gym, her tone and body language changed. It appeared to me that as I was an individual who knew how to train myself - with my own training structure and program to follow - she wouldn’t be able to sell me any ‘extra services’ and lost interest. She started the rest of the tour great, showed me the pool and spa facilities, advised me on peak times and showed me the gym facilities. She was polite enough to ask me about my job, which, again, appeared a mistake. The rest of the tour was rushed, uninspiring and not somewhere I felt the staff would care about their regular (£61 per month) members. Facilities looked great, well maintained, clean and enough equipment to go around. However, if I’m going to be paying £61pm I at least want to feel like the general staff actually care about me, rather than feeling like a ‘money cow’ for them to try and suckle extra cash out of. Absolutely joke of a service. Wanted a 2 week trial for me and my wife but they refused as we have already seen the gym in August 2016 after the refurb was done. Just lost out in £1300 a year.. Asked if we could have a one day trial to test out the equipment and once again refused. Avoid
