Shout out to my favorite gym thus far. Finally found a home. My trainer is awesome. Always pushes me to go all out. After back surgery I was skeptical on what to do and what not to do. She's on point with keeping up with how I'm feeling and making sure I do the workouts properly. Jana Gero rocks it out!!!!!!

Recent expansion of TruFit makes this gym a terrific workout place. The expansion features most of the gear for crossfit style workouts. Free weights and many benches, plyometric jump boxes, several sizes of weighted exercise balls, a weight sled for pushing-pulling, climbing ropes, all in a large open area for training, plus the room for treadmills, elliptical machines, bikes, rowing machines and a full complement of standard Nautilus machines make this gym the best, and for less. Highly recommended. Peter H., member since 2012

Great gym. Joined in late 2017 and it changed my life. After retiring from the Navy in 2016 I got complacent and put on a bunch of weight. I finally decided to make a change and joined Tru-Fit. My personal trainer, Skylar, developed a great program to help get me back into shape. With my numerous injuries due to my service including a shoulder replacement, it’s important that I do the RIGHT exercises. I’m in better shape now at 47 than I was on active duty at 37. I can’t say enough about this place and my experience. Highly recommended.

11 reasons why I won’t be joining this gym. 1- The introduction. If you are new to fitness, it’s intimidating with how many personal questions are asked. If you’re experienced, it’s insulting with an overview of very elementary fundamentals of working out. 2- All of the benches have a tripping hazard on them. There are wheels on one side, and a bar on the other. The bar prevents you from maintaining proper form with your feet planted underneath you and put you at risk to breaking your ankle every single time you rise up from benching. 3- The barbell bench press has railings that are three inches longer than any other railing on any bench press. Because of that, you cannot start the range of motion with your chest. Your hands have to begin behind your head which engages your shoulders and puts them at risk for injury. 4- There is not a designated deadlift area. 5- No chalk is allowed. The lack of chalk prevents maximal strength training from occurring. 6- The machines are in an entirely different room than dumbbells so you cannot superset. 7- There is no water fountain in the dumbbell area so if a class is going on you have to walk a really long way for water. 8- The start up fee is outrageously high and is almost 2 and a half months worth of membership. 9- I don’t feel confident being trained by somebody who isn’t fit. You have to look the part. 10- There are very limited back machines. 11- There is only one 130lb. dumbbell... can’t bench with only one.

First I’ll say I’m NOT a member at this gym. I recently visited to simply get prices but the sales consultant could not discuss prices without giving a mandatory 30min+ tour of the gym. The gym looks nice, clean and had all equipment necessary. The sales pitch is just terrible and needs to be reworked. I suggest prices be advertised online or able to be discussed without a dreadfully long tour.
