Firstly I’ll start with the good points. I’m a member through Spain and Portugal and this location has more of the right equipment for strength training than I have seen in Porto of Lisbon, particularly in the Multi-gym equipment. It ensures we don’t need to wait too long to get sets in. I see comments about the gym being too busy, but at my preferred hour of 06:15, I never found this, it’s better than I’m accustomed to. Also good proportion spacial allocation ratio weights/cardio/floor/class. I love the showers too. Good temperature and quality of spout compared to the heaping of the experience through Portugal. However, there is insufficient air through the gym, especially at the cardio zone. Difficult to breathe. The team does not educate nor lead the users on considerate return of free weights or straps to correct locations. Weights are all over the place in a total mess. Some of the equipment pieces are not well placed and leave little space to move, especially at the free weight benches. There are spaces with excessive room to move and space too tight to even walk around. Why? Also insufficient mirrors through the gym, especially at the cardio and floor zones. Some equipment is pretty old and the free weight for is destroyed and needs replacing. A good experience but needs more care, consideration and planning.
Went there as a tourist and bought a “one day pass”. It was actually not a one day pass but rather a one time pass (I wanted to go in the morning AND in the evening the same day but it was not possible…). The gym looks pretty new and clean. Lots of equipments but can be very busy sometimes
Well equipped but the humidity was 70%. This time ia was 65%, not much of an improvement. Also, the weights are all over the place
Basic low cost gym. Centrally located. Lacks a few machines for Abdominals. Bathrooms could use upgrade on water pressure and hot water. Not allowed to shave in men's Bathroom 😐
The gym is well equipped and clean however I joined for the bodypump classes and the quality isn ’t very good. The instructors only ever do the current release (131) and it stays that way… every single class. No variation to the workouts, same music, same routine… it never changes. At the time of writing this we are in early March. The gym would have started playing this release back in early January if not December. That’s 3 months of the same workout! Hearing this music over and over again… I can’t bear it.
