Power World Gym - Gym in Nugegoda, Sri Lanka

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at PowerWorld Gym on High Level Road, Nugegoda. This is one of the worst gyms I have attended. I am especially concerned about the behavior of certain staff members, including Kalum and Dawin. They do not support all members equally and seem to focus only on their personal clients instead of helping everyone in the gym. Many members, including women, young boys, and others, are often ignored. There have also been instances where their behavior towards female members has been inappropriate and uncomfortable. This creates an unsafe and unwelcoming environment for women. Additionally, the overall attitude of the staff is unprofessional, and there have been conflicts involving them, which reflects very poorly on the gym's management. Overall, this gym is not a safe or supportive place for both women and men. I would not recommend this gym to anyone unless serious improvements are made.

At times, they touch female members under the pretext of helping, but if those members are not responsive or comfortable, they are then ignored and not given proper support. This creates an unfair and unsafe atmosphere. Additionally, their behavior, including making jokes and the way they look at female members, makes many women feel uneasy and disrespected. This is not acceptable in a professional fitness environment. There have also been incidents of conflict involving staff, which further reflects poorly on the gym's management and discipline. Overall, this gym does not feel like a safe or supportive place for women. I strongly advise management to take immediate action to address these issues and ensure a respectful, safe, and professional environment for all members.

I have been going to power world gym at high-level road for the morning hours session for more than 6 years and they don't have a proper instructor to train the people. They don't give a proper training or guidance on how to do exercises. They don't offer a proper meal plan either.

Highly disappointed. I don't usually leave reviews, but this is specially for the ladies who are planning to join the Nugegoda powerworld gym. Even though their prices are low, the atmosphere sucks. Specially for girls. The instructors do not know how to behave with girls properly, Starting with the manager. Kelum only supports the girls he likes. The other instructors also have no manners. This notice is specially for girls, please think twice before registering to the powerworld gym.

Extremely Disappointed - Not Recommended for Beginners I rarely leave bad reviews, but I felt like I had to share my experience at Power World Delkanda. First of all, the instructors and shift managers are extremely unhelpful. As a beginner, I expected at least some guidance, but all they did was briefly point at a machine and move on. No one explained proper techniques or form. Strangely, they seemed only interested in chatting with the girls and completely ignored the beginners in the gym. It's frustrating. The equipment is in terrible condition. Most machines are rusty and dirty, and there's this ironic (greasy/dirty) layer around each machine - don't even think about wearing a white shirt unless you want it stained for good. The toilets are disgusting, with an awful smell that makes you want to hold your breath the entire time you're in there. Also, there are no proper cardio machines to run - they literally only allow walking. For a gym that's supposed to help people stay fit, that's just disappointing. The only positive I can think of is the low annual fee . But honestly, the cheap price comes at the cost of quality and professionalism. If you're a beginner or looking for a clean, supportive environment - stay away from this place.
