One of the reviews on this page is made of three separate testimonials in quotation marks, stitched together.

I'll come back to that. First: ATO Fitness is at 304 Inverness Way S in Englewood, Colorado. It shows 5.0 from 158 reviews, running through January 2026.

Six Trainers, Named

This is the clearest signal here, and it's a good one. Across five reviews spanning 2022 to 2026, members name Clayton, Gary, Ciara, Brian Brenzel, Rosie Mosier and Hayes.

Six different trainers, praised by six different people, over four years. That's not one star coach carrying a gym. That's a bench. If you don't click with one, there are others, and the place has kept staff across years.

A member in September 2025: "I've been working with Ciara at ATO Fitness for almost a year now and I've seen huge changes and improvement to my body, strength and endurance. She has a wealth of knowledge about strength and performance in the realm of sports, especially jiu jitsu. She makes the workouts fun and approachable and realistic while keeping in mind your limitations as well."

Jiu jitsu strength work, specifically. That's the most specialised claim on the page and she's the only source.

The Review For Someone Who Keeps Quitting

A member in January 2023: "I had a hard time sticking to going to the gym and finding a routine that worked for me. Working with Clayton has been motivating; he helps me understand the exercises, execute them correctly, is encouraging and is always focused on results based training. Clayton is upbeat, uplifting and informative. He doesn't let me give up on myself, but isn't aggressively demanding. As a newbie to the gym, I wanted to find a trainer that..."

"He doesn't let me give up on myself, but isn't aggressively demanding."

That's a precise line, and it's the fear nobody says out loud: that a trainer will either shout at you or let you coast. She's saying he does neither.

A member in November 2022: "The energy is motivating and they have new and specialized equipment all the time. My teenage son works out with Brian Brenzel and loves the environment and encouragement. I work out with Rosie Mosier, she's a fantastic trainer that makes every workout tailored to me and my needs. Plus she will do my nutrition planning too!"

Teenagers train here, and nutrition planning is available from at least one trainer. Two facts, one review.

The Collage

A member in February 2025: "I've never felt more supported and motivated in my fitness journey! Gary the G.O.A.T is an exceptional trainer who truly cares about each client's success. ATO Fitness is the best gym I've ever been to! Hands down, the best trainer I've ever worked with!! Gary is knowledgeable, patient, and always pushes me to reach my full potential. I've seen incredible results since joining ATO Fitness!! ATO Fitness is more than just a gym, it's a community! As someone who's struggled with fitness motivation in the past, I was blown away by Gary's ability to keep me engaged and motivated."

In the original, that's three chunks, each individually wrapped in quotation marks, run together as one review.

I'm not accusing anyone of anything, and there are innocent explanations. Someone might have collected quotes from friends and posted them together. Someone might have drafted several versions and pasted all of them by mistake. Someone might just write like that.

But it reads differently from every other review here, and you should see the shape rather than have me smooth it over. Set it beside the September 2025 review about jiu jitsu conditioning and the difference is obvious: one is a person describing a year of her own training, the other is three blocks of praise in quote marks.

The specific one wins.

About That 5.0

A hundred and fifty-eight reviews with nothing below five. My hypothesis: this is a personal training business, and PT self-selects hard. It costs real money, so the uncommitted don't sign up, and anyone who doesn't click with their trainer stops booking and writes nothing.

What you're buying is one of those six people. That's a fit you can't inherit from a stranger's review, no matter how many stars it has.

What's Missing

No prices at all, which for a PT model is the first question.

Nothing about whether you can use the floor without a trainer.

Hours and Who It's Not For

05:00 to 22:00, every single day including Sunday. Seventeen hours, seven days, no variation. That's unusual and it's the only hard fact on this page.

Not for you if you want to train unsupervised. Every review describes coaching.

I had a hard time sticking to going to the gym and finding a routine that worked for me. Working with Clayton has been motivating; he helps me understand the exercises, execute them correctly, is encouraging and is always focused on results based training. I feel better about my body after each of our sessions, knowing that I'm also learning what exercises to do to get the results I want. Clayton is upbeat, uplifting and informative as he coaches thru training sessions. He doesn't let me give up on myself, but isn't aggressively demanding. As a newbie to the gym, I wanted to find a trainer that would push me to my limits but not break me. Someone who could help me set realistic goals, and work towards achieving them. I feel more focused on the exercises and strength training with Clayton than I could do by myself. Having a great trainer is great support when starting out on a fitness journey and I give Clayton my highest regards!
