Working with a personal trainer at Saco Sport & Fitness has been transformational. I never thought I could lift heavy weights, especially at my age. Amazingly I can, thanks to my trainer Julia, who designs the strength-training programs, explains the mechanics and provides guidance on form. Twice a week as I lift more, my daily functioning improves and my outdoor activities are fun again.
I thought I'd leave this review since I'll be moving away and I'll no longer be a member at this establishment. I'll not only miss the proximity, the facility but also the staff. Luke is amazing. Aside from his great movie suggestions, he always made time for my silly questions and jokes. He's a indeed a great asset. Thank you Saco Sport & Fitness.
Love this place. Great mix of clientele and staff (especially Luke!) Best gym I've found in Southern Maine. They have it all. Highly recommend!
Amazing gym. Have been coming for years never stop updating equiptment and the night manager Luke makes one of a kind protien shakes! Highly recommend if you want a clean updated facility and amazing staff.
Been going for 6 years now. Staff is super friendly, especially Luke! - Basketball court - Tons of free weights/machines - Treadmills/Stairmasters/Ellipticals - Outdoor area - Fitness center - Yoga studio - Message guns/hydromassage - lots of classes - Smoothies - SAUNA Can't really ask for much more. Kinda expensive, but hey, you get what you pay for.
