Centro Acqua Fitness Marima

Italy

The trial session lasted an hour. The real sessions are thirty minutes. A member found that out after paying.

That's the single most useful thing on this page, and it comes from one of three separate one-star reviews that all describe the same contract.

Centro Acqua Fitness Marima is on Viale Poetto in Cagliari, Sardinia. It's aqua fitness, not a gym floor: you train in water. It shows 4.2 from 32 reviews, running through January 2026.

The Contract, From Three Directions

A member in April 2025, one star (translated from Italian): "I went for the trial, it lasted an hour, so training-wise it went well because I worked my legs and arms enough. I go to talk about costs and packages and take the 10 or 20 session package, deciding to pay a deposit and then the balance the following month. They make me book ALL the appointments for all the sessions. Now, you can't know what might happen, unexpected things occur. One day I can't make the evening session, I let them know in the morning. I'm told the lesson is LOST because I have to give 24 hours notice. It seems absurd to me that having paid half the package in advance I should lose a PAID lesson because I didn't warn the day before but in the morning. Besides, the trial was an hour, when the actual lessons started they were only HALF AN HOUR, where you don't even have time to warm up. Maybe knowing the lessons were shorter and about the lack of flexibility I would have thought twice before buying a package."

Let me separate this out, because it's dense.

The 24-hour cancellation rule is defensible. A booked slot in a small pool costs the business money whether you show or not, and most studios enforce something like it. It's strict, and strict isn't the same as unfair.

The trial-versus-reality gap is different. An hour when you're deciding, half an hour once you've paid. Whether that was deliberate or just how their trial happens to run, I can't tell from here, and I'm not going to accuse anyone. But it's the thing I'd nail down before handing over a deposit: how long is an actual session?

A member in October 2025, one star (translated from Italian): "The 30-minute workout duration is really useless, especially considering you can go a maximum of twice a week, and if you cancel you lose the session. You can't have a full shower with your hair. The hours aren't flexible. I had 10 lessons left that I had to interrupt for personal reasons and I was told I could only do them by taking out a new subscription."

She independently confirms the 30 minutes, the cancellation rule, and adds two things: a two-per-week cap, and unused lessons dying unless you buy again.

A member in March 2025, one star (translated from Italian): "The activity itself is nice, but I found it very hard to fit my work shifts around their limited available space. For several weeks I could only train once a week. The changing rooms were always cold, every time I had to ask them to turn the heating on. The most absurd thing was many lessons with terrible audio, and despite many complaints they kept being offered."

She's the one who says "the activity itself is nice" while rating it one star. That's the pattern I trust: she isn't trying to burn the place down.

Her audio complaint has a sting in it. Complaints were made, nothing changed. That stops being an equipment problem and becomes a service one.

Three different women, across seven months, all describing an inflexible booking system. That's a pattern, not a bad day.

The Review That Explains Why It Exists

A member in January 2026, five stars (translated from Italian, originally in capitals): "I've been going regularly for more than two years now, twice a week. I have a motor disability, and using the bike inside the hydromassage tub has helped me a lot, both for the muscle tone of my legs and for mobility. The lessons are also complete because they involve abdominals and arms, using small weights. A complete gymnastics for the body that I'd recommend to everyone, including men who perhaps can't do a regular gym."

She's the reason this place matters. Two years, twice a week, and she's telling you exactly what it does: a bike inside a hydromassage pool, which takes the load off while you work.

Notice she also confirms the twice-a-week pattern from the one-star reviews. She just doesn't experience it as a cap; for her it's the routine.

And read her last line again. She's thinking of people who can't use a normal gym at all. That's who this is for.

A member in April 2025: "I've been going to the centre for three years now, and I couldn't have chosen a better activity! The girls are friendly and helpful, the environment is spotlessly clean, and the classes are tailored to your fitness level."

Who It's Not For

Anyone with unpredictable shifts. Three reviewers say the scheduling is rigid.

Anyone who wants a proper workout length. Thirty minutes, confirmed by two independent sources.

Anyone who needs to wash their hair afterwards, going by the October 2025 account.

Quindi x me esperienza NEGATIVA
