Recently started training here to build some basic strength and for my knee rehabilitation, both tom and georgia have been great helps, constructing difficult excersises with me using equipment, correcting form, and teaching me new excersises to better target what i want to target, would highly reccomend this gym to any newbie looking to get fit with friendly staff and memebers 👍
Well located and with parking places (if needed), the gym is super good. Easy access (you can join online or do it onsite, the staff is very easy going and helpful) via code number or qr code, open 24 hours, 7 days a week. The gym itself has everything needed on thr two floors: cardio machines, dumbells, barbells, weights, benches, machines for legs, chest, back, shoulders, biceps, triceps and abs... If needed, the gym contain lockers, individual showers with wc as well, water points, machine to buy water as well, juices, protein bars, some snacks, etc. The price is super affordable and i really reccommend it, especially for the plenty of space that the gym has and it is super tidy and clean. The gym has many classes as well, an app where you can check your activity, you can use it to enter the gym, to check personal trainers, workout videos and many more.
Good range of equipment, individual shower / toilet rooms to wash and get changed in, which puts it ahead of the other local chain in the area. Gym could do with maybe a few more cable options.
The Great Yarmouth Gym Group has a good variety of equipment and friendly staff, making it easy for beginners. Classes are nice and the facilities are generally clean. However, it can get crowded at peak times, and I unfortunately lost my bag from the locker, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s a decent gym, but I’d be cautious with personal belongings.
I’m giving 2 stars due to a disappointing experience with one of the staff members. On Sunday, April 5th in the afternoon, my elderly father (a long-time member) forgot his PIN and asked for help at reception. Unfortunately, the staff member on duty wasn’t helpful and didn’t even attempt to assist or offer any solution, simply telling him to go home. I understand there may be procedures, but a bit more effort and basic customer care would have made a big difference.
