Nice place to train, no frills, but with soul. The simulators are not new, but everything you need is available. If you come there just to work with muscles, you will be satisfied
The gym is equipped with a wide range of equipment - from free weights to strength and cardio machines. Halkownia allows you to purchase a membership without signing a contract, which is rare for this type of facility. And that's where the advantages end. Equipment and weights are scattered everywhere in the gym. I understand that this is the "credit" of the exercisers, not the facility's management, but maintaining the equipment in proper condition is their responsibility. However, much of the equipment is significantly worn. Some components (such as the mats) and a renovation would be in order. The same goes for the locker room, which is reminiscent of elementary school days in the early 2000s. Furthermore, the gym is constantly blasting loud music, constantly interrupted by commercials from some streaming service. Sets from Manieczki or another Sunrise play on repeat. It's not for me, but I know it has a large, devoted fan base, and that's okay.
