This happens to be a great little Sports area for soccer. The upstairs indoor soccer stadium is fantastic artificial turf and all.
This turf field is a small field on the third floor of a shopping center in Garfield. Barely suitable for 6v6 (with keepers) for adults and probably good enough for 7v7 youth games. The walls are very close to the end lines and are cushioned. The goals are about 6' x 6'. The turf is not long, and you'll need either turf shoes or flats to play. It costs about $250 for 1.5 hours of play.
I took my son there for indoor soccer. They need better parking, need better sits. The famale bathroom is clean but the man's is not.
Beware!!! The owner has no people skills at all. Does not care for the safety of the kids playing as long as his pockets are full. I was there when a mother was trying to voice her concerns over some VERY much older kids playing against 10-11 year olds. He told her to shut up. The parents complaining over the safety of the team were just genuinely concerned and the other team UNISAMBA from Paterson looked like High school freshman against 11 year olds. If you want your team/ kids spirit to go down go and play in in this establishment for the prices charged the nets are so badly taken care of fyi.
The experience in this place was so horrible that unfortunately will downgrade the kids spirit to play soccer. unfortunately google makes us rate 1 star but this place really deserves negative stars. If you are thinking of bringing your team here please think about it twice or just prepare mentally that if you register for a certain age group and you could physically tell a certain kid is way older than he is. Prepare emotionally to be disrespected by the owner if you complain and by the other team coaches the team doing all the cheating of course gets upset if they are called out on it. This type of behavior breaks kids spirits in trying to enjoy the sport.
