Lemontree Yoga - Gym in Dublin, Ireland

Dublin, Ireland

Lemon Tree Yoga isn't a gym, and you should know that before you plan a workout around it. It's a yoga studio at 165 Howth Road in Killester, Dublin, and Google's own categories lead with "yoga studio" before the broader fitness tags. Nobody here reviews a squat rack or a treadmill. They review classes, teachers, and a room. So if you came looking for weights, this is the wrong door, but the consumer signal underneath is still worth reading.

What the reviews describe

The reviews are small classes and a calm room, again and again. A September 2023 member wrote that the studio "is a wonderful addition to the local community" and listed a real range: "restorative yoga and breath work, more strenuous improver yoga and a very special women's dance circle." That range matters because it tells you the timetable isn't one-note. A July 2023 review called it a "gorgeous space with lovely teachers for all levels. Small classes, friendly relaxed vibe and very reasonable rates." Sound baths get a mention too. The owner, Michelle, is named as the person curating the guest instructors, which is a pull-quote-worthy detail if you care who's setting the tone.

Where the voices agree

Three things repeat across independent reviews: small class sizes, a welcoming feel, and price that people call fair. A August 2025 note adds a practical one that a lot of Dublin studios can't claim: "Parking at Supervalu and shops are around." Another echoes "lots of parking close by." For anyone who's circled a block near a city studio for ten minutes, that's not a throwaway line.

What the 4.6 is really measuring

Here's the part I want to be straight about. The written reviews I can see are all five stars, but the overall average is 4.6 across 11 ratings. That gap is quiet. It means some people left a lower star rating without writing a word, and those silent scores are what pull the number below 5. Eleven ratings is a tiny sample too. One unhappy 1-star rating in a pool that small would swing the average hard. So read 4.6 as "well liked by a small group," not as a definitive verdict, and know that the enthusiastic written notes are the loud end of the distribution.

What's missing

No review states an actual class price. "Reasonable" and "very reasonable rates" show up twice, but a euro figure never does, and a word pretending to be a number isn't a number. The booking link points to a third-party events page, so drop-in versus membership pricing isn't clear from here either. Hours are posted and vary by day, including early 6:30 starts on some weekdays and a short Sunday morning slot.

Who it's not for

If you want resistance machines, a cardio floor, or a big class you can hide in the back of, this isn't it. Small and personal is the whole point. That's a feature for some and a dealbreaker for others.

FAQ

Is Lemon Tree Yoga a gym?

No. It's a yoga studio in Killester, Dublin. Google tags it with fitness categories, but every review is about yoga classes, teachers, and the room, not gym equipment.

How much do classes cost?

No review gives a price. Several call the rates "reasonable," but that's an impression, not a figure. Check the studio's booking page or ask directly.

Is there parking?

Yes. Reviewers repeatedly mention parking at the nearby Supervalu and surrounding shops, which is a genuine plus for a city studio.

This studio is fantastic. It is a wonderful addition to the local community and I feel very lucky to have this space on my doorstep. I have enjoyed some fantastic yoga classes here, some wonderful restorative yoga and breath work, more strenuous improver yoga and a very special women's dance circle. Michelle invites excellent instructors to share this space and I have really enjoyed all the new classes I have tried. ❤️
