Itrim - Gym in 113 50 Stockholm, Sweden

Sweden

Itrim is on Sveavagen in central Stockholm. It holds a 4.7 rating from 21 Google reviews, and the record is current, with a review from June 2026.

Twenty-one ratings is small. But this record has something most don't: reviews spanning ten years, which lets you see what changed.

It Was Rebuilt, And A Member Noticed

A member in September 2024 (translated from Swedish): "Since they rebuilt and installed e-gym it's a perfect place to work out. Lots of options, and incredibly fresh! The staff is very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Zero resistance to going and working out now."

E-gym is a chipped, automated equipment system: the machines recognise you and set themselves. So this isn't a vague "they refurbished," it's a specific system with a name you can check.

A member in June 2026 (translated from Swedish): "Very professional, very good treatment, easy to use, innovative training machines, fresh, bright premises. Super good atmosphere."

"Easy to use, innovative training machines" from 2026 corroborates the e-gym account from 2024. Two people, two years apart, describing the same thing.

The Complaint That Predates The Rebuild

A member in January 2020, two stars: "If you like the circle training it's probably okay, but it's pretty small and you can't deadlift without disturbing the neighbours right under."

You can't deadlift without disturbing the neighbours underneath.

That's the most specific and most useful thing on this page. It tells you the studio is on an upper floor of a residential or mixed building, it's small, and heavy barbell work is socially if not formally off the table.

Now, that's from January 2020 and the rebuild came later. A refurbishment doesn't move a floor, though. If you lift heavy, that constraint is probably still there, and it's the question I'd ask.

He also frames the offer accurately: this is circuit training. Itrim's model is guided circuits rather than a free-weight floor.

The Ten-Year Review

A member in July 2016 wrote something I can't quite categorise (translated from Swedish): "Your help with the training made it possible for me to get started in life again. I have hiked for 6 weeks, 800 miles. Became a grandmother again and sailed and in between cat sitting. Satisfied customer."

Eight hundred miles on foot, at an age where she's a grandmother again, and she credits the gym with getting her started.

It's ten years old and it tells you nothing about the equipment. I'm including it because it tells you who the place is for, and that hasn't changed: this is a guided, supported model aimed at people who need help beginning rather than a room for people who already know what they're doing.

The Weekend Gap

A member in June 2019 (translated from Swedish): "It's just a shame that it will be closed on weekends in July, I like to train on Sundays."

Closed at weekends in July. That's a seasonal closure, seven years ago, and I've no idea whether it still happens. Swedish businesses do close in July.

The published hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 20:00, Friday 07:00 to 18:00, Saturday 09:00 to 13:00, Sunday 12:00 to 16:00.

So Saturday is four hours and Sunday is four hours. Narrow, but they exist, at least outside July.

Who It's Not For

Anyone who deadlifts. A member has told you about the neighbours.

Anyone wanting a big floor. "Pretty small" is the only size assessment on record.

FAQ

Can I lift heavy there?

A member says you can't deadlift without disturbing the neighbours below. That was 2020, and a rebuild since then wouldn't change the floor.

What is e-gym?

An automated equipment system, installed during a rebuild. Two members, in 2024 and 2026, describe the machines as innovative and easy to use.

What are the weekend hours?

Saturday 09:00 to 13:00, Sunday 12:00 to 16:00. A member mentions weekend closures in July, though that was 2019.

Are the reviews in English?

Mostly Swedish. Those quotes are my translations.

Mycket proffsigt, mycket bra bemötande, lätt användbara, innovativa träningsapparater, fräscha, ljusa lokaler. Superbra stämning etc.
