I started here when I was 3 years old and I have stayed ever since. I got my black belt, then my second degree, then third, and now forth! I am now 18 and I am teaching here at KICX as an instructor. The life skills and martial arts I have learned has positively affected in every aspect of my life and I regularly use the personal development that I was taught, and now teach, on a daily basis. It’s a blessing to be able to pass my knowledge on and help others grow and become more effective and happy.
Genuinely one of the best things we did was sign our daughter up for classes at Kicx. Not only is she loving learning the martial arts skills but the leader in me programme they follow has helped build her confidence and resilience. She has the same teacher at school this year that taught her 2 years ago (before Kicx) and even he has commented on how much more mature she is and how well she listens and pays attention in class. A large part of that is definitely from her Martial Arts classes and the excellent support and teaching provided by Master T. I would thoroughly recommend Kicx to anyone!
Our Son is 8 and has learnt so much from Kicx. He’s always engaged, learning about himself as much as the martial arts and every session is fun but with well delivered, serious life skill messages. Master T really knows his stuff, not just about karate, but what makes kids tick, what makes them giggle and, most importantly, what makes them learn to be better humans. I’d recommend this to any parent of any child.
One the best things I ever did was join my children to the Kicx family! What a team ! So passionate , enthusiastic and inspiring. My daughter is 9 and has been going since she was four and has just achieved her black belt . Her brother also goes now and they love it ! As well as learning karate which is great! Hard work and fun ! It’s helped them with their confidence , with their attitude and approach to school as well as at home . I recommend Kicx to everyone !
I started training after a life changing event at the age of 57 , I have lost 5 stone in weight and at the age of 59 achieved my black belt . A fantastic experience with the help and support from the kicx team.
